Still works, but I wanted a upgrade. Love this one, used it for several recipes and works great so far. Hopefully it’ll still be working in a decade or 2.

Good, not Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've had a KitchenAid tilt-head mixer for about 40 years, and it's finally showing some wear. Wife wanted a new one, and we found this Pro series lift-bowl mixer on sale. It seems to be a good mixer, but just doesn't seem to be as solid as our old machine. I find I don't like the lift bowl type; it's harder to put on the attachments. Also, I found that it was very difficult to get the bowl locked on correctly. I resolved that by removing the retaining clip and straightening it out some so that it is not as tight. Overall, I'm sure this will be a good mixer for many years, but not sure it's as good as the old models.
