Excellent for Cooking / Baking

I went with the more powerful motor as I will be baking breads and other pastries this semester. I am looking foward to adding various attachments for pasta, ice cream, etc. as my skills progress. I could not be more pleased with this mixer.

Best mixer I have owned

I haven't tried making bread but I bought it mainly to mix cookies and tea cakes, I'm sure it will work just as well on other mixtures. My hand mixer went in the garbage

Once that started having issues, I bought this one. The quality has gone down considerably. The machine makes weird high pitched noises when running. It seems to struggle while kneading dough. I don't know if I got a lemon or if this is the new quality standards of KitchenAid.
