I got this Mixer for my wife for Mothers Day. She used it and loved it. She has had only cheap made Mixers before, that only splattered and made a big mess. Cooking for Thanksgiving with this Mixer this year will be fun and a Dream to use.

Updated the 50 year old unit because the gear was shot. This unit works like the classic. It's heavy and sturdy. Just not sure if I prefer the lift stand as much as I liked the tilt head.

Used this as a replacement for a worn-out unit that tended to jump off the counter. This one seems stable and secure enough. If I have one complaint, it is that the mixing utensils don't quite reach to the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, I've been fairly happy with the mixer, which has already seen heavy use in the 6 months that I've owned it.

This professional 5 series mixer is adequate. I make bread and I need a mixer that doesn’t have the mixing pan fly off( as did the kitchens aid artisan mixer that I had). So, now the pan doesn’t fly off (thankfully). But it makes a lot of noise!

I’ve had a Kitchen Aid blender for nearly two decades and loved it. It was smaller and older so I thought I was upgrading. Not true. This is louder, clunkier, and smells horrible when the motor runs. It also isn’t as functional or user friendly, as you have to drop the bowl to scrape the side. Not pleased.

I love the sleek black color of my Kitchen Aid. I love how it now only takes half the time to make my desserts, bread, and anything else I can whip up.

We were debating between this and the tilt back one, but we really have enjoyed this so far. Whipping up a batch of cookies can be done almost as fast as the scale can go up

I've always wanted one of the Professional Series models of Kitchen Aid mixer and when Best Buy had it for $300 off on one of its days before Christmas sales, I just couldn't resist. And it came in very handy for the holidays with all the cookies that were made! Love it!

Picked this up on Best Buy daily deal. Great price and solid industrial level mixer. Only downside is head doesn't tilt up but that's minor.

Too darn heavy. I have arthritis and was looking for a simpler way to mix my breads, cookies, cakes..etc. This mixer weighs a ton. I would suggest that KitchenAid figures out a way to place roller balls under the base...so that it can be slid across the top of the counter instead of having to be lifted...

I always thought that these mixers were overrated and cost too much to just mix things. Man was I wrong. This thing will shred up meat and do all kinds of things. My wife has wanted one for some time so I finally broke down and got it. I have actually used it as much as she has! It is a great product.

I bought this to replace an old stand mixer even though I have a fairly good hand mixer.. I have only used it a few times so far and am very pleased with it. I t was a little hard adjusting the heigth of the mixer the first time I used it, but after I got that done it works great. I guess my only con is that I wish I had bought the tilt head mixer instead of the fixed one as sometimes it's a little hard to add ingredients. Oh, and don't turn it on high after adding flour until it gets mixed in or it goes everywhere. LOL I learned that the hard way.

It is a good machine. It works very well.it made mixing fun again.

i got this on a black friday for a steal. my mom loves it. in fact i originally got this for my gf the prior year on black friday and she loved it so much. I wouldn't pay top dollar for it, but if you find it on sale you have to strike.

This is the gold standard for home mixers. We purchased this model because of the great price. Our old model (20+ years old) was donated to a culinary student and he continues to make great cakes with it.

this is a great mixer -- only issue is that it is heavy and hard to fit into a cabinet -- otherwise we love it

…to convince you. Looks great feels great works great. U only wish it didnt cost a fortune but owning one is like a membership card to a kitchen club.

Quick delivery and great product! We have used it many since since we bought 3 weeks ago for different types of dough. The mixer has worked well. The 5 Qt bowl seems too big sometimes if you are trying to make small quantities.

I have been wanting to get one for my daughter, she loves it. the price was great and the product does what she wanted, it's a win-win.

I bought this for my daughter as a house warming gift! She loved it! I hope she’ll get many years of use like I have out of mine, It’s been 30 plus years & counting!
