This model's bowl in particular is much lighter in weight, doesn't fit very well and wiggles around badly during mixing/blending. The machine itself is fine, the attachments are coated or painted rather than brushed metal, no doubt will need replacement when the finish wears off. Noticed the machine no longer comes with a custom spatula for scraping the inside of the bowl either, Big change in quality from older models, disappointing. Thankfully Best Buy had a great sale on before Christmas, if I'd paid anything like regular prices this would have been a return.

The accessories on this are amazing too....never knew how versatile it was......high recommendation all the way around

She's wanted one for a long time and it lived up to everything she thought it would be. Strong motor and smooth operation. Not to mention it looks great in the kitchen.

For years recipes that said things like "beat until triple in volume" seemed defiantly out of reach, but this mixer really executes. Only problem, which further use might eliminate, is that the head is stationary so it's the bowl that must be worked into and out of position before and after operation, and it's not easy to do.

It was time to step up to a bigger model and this one does not disappoint. It has a slow startup speed, so that dry ingredients don't go flying.

A good investment for her since I know how reliable the equipment is. You can never go wrong with KA.
