Some of the other models do not have metal gears or as good of a warranty. Be sure to check that out if you plan to make this big investment.

Told the manager and he refused to exchange it. Idk how that made it through quality control. I got really unlucky I guess.

But the overall unit is not as great as I expected it to be. I’ve had to tighten the screws on the base. It’s a little awkward to lift the bowl into place as compared to the smaller versions head bends into the bowl. It’s just preferred but not a huge issue
