While this mixer is touted as the professional model they don’t tell you the noise it will make upon turning it on. The reasoning according to Kitchenaid is due to all the metal gearing where the other models have one nylon making it so that you don't need hearing protection.

It's an absolute must have inside any kitchen, no matter how big or small your food project may be!

Bought this for my daughter and she dearly loves it. She was so surprised. She has used the mixer and loves how quiet it is and it’s functionality.

Great mixer, working as expected, the only disappointing thing is if you are going to prepare small portions you'll need to purchase an extra accessory.

It’s a Kitchen Aid mixer. What else do you need to know? It’s the best out there. Of course it’s great. But them around Black Friday and save hundreds.

My wife wanted it as an early Christmas present so she could make cookies for her Virginia family's visit. Worked like a charm and hopefully for many years to come due to its solid build.

I enjoy baking, but don't get the chance to do it very often, so I tend to make large batches when I do bake. This mixer handles larger batches much more easily than my hand mixer and the mixing goes much faster as well. Only issue I've had so far is making sure to get bowl correctly locked in place before using. It takes some effort to do it right, but it doesn't wobble at all once you get it.

This mixer is good for beginners. It does the job but earlier models were much sturdier

Always wanted a mixer like this but never wanted to spend the money. Glad I finally did because it was worth every penny. My 4 year old also loves it and always wants to bake something.

Got as a christmas gift for my girlfriend. Will post results after she gets it. Box is heavy.

The bowl is hard to remove and to clip into position. I think the stand mixer with a tilt head would work better.

First off, great overall mixer. Got on discount so it was worth the $200. But for full price I believe cost to value is too questionable. The bowl locking mechanism seems too difficult. The whole systems seems a little claustrophobic. It looks great and does a good job.

Professional mixer. Teally nice price. Havent used it yet. Soon. So call me master chef...lol
