This is the creme de la creme of mixers. If you need a good mixer that is not going to burn up or grind to a halt for thick baking and mixes, then this is the only one you should consider.

I had the smaller tilt head kitchenaid mixer and recently gifted to a friend and purchased this professional series. What I expected in performance and reliability.

Officially an adult now that I have one! In love. I use it for everything. Perfect for mashed potatoes for the big holiday dinners.

The machine works great. I use it on a weekly basis to make Mexican sweet bread, sandwich bread, cakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and many other pastries etc...

All metal gearing gives peace of mind. After multiple batches of masa I knew it would last as it had no problem with the mix. You do have to lower the bowl and remove the attachment to remove the bowl but it does not pose a problem. The tilt head Artisan is better in that aspect, but you are losing some strength with the gearing.

It's an excellent mixer for the price. Comes with 3 attachments and that's all you need if you are starting to bake. It's somewhat heavy something that shows the sturdiness of its built.

Excellent product. Definitely a really good purchase, I'm happy with it.

It's a kitchen aid so you know it's awesome. This one does not have a spring to help stabilize the mixing attachments. I guess they've been phazed out as unnecessary but I noticed a difference. Also sometimes when I start it, it does nothing which is kinda weird. Other than those 2 small things - I love this appliance. I'm so thrilled to have it.
