Used it for the first time today to make gingerbread cookies. So disappointed!!! The machine was loud...I mean LOUD, and squeaking/screeching when the beater started turning. Nail down the blackboard squeaky screech. And it lagged when I turned it on. Nothing like my mixer from 44 years ago, which responded without lag. I'm so disappointed!! I'm past my return to BestBuy period but still under warranty, so I will contact KitchenAid on Monday and see what they say. I gave my 44 yo mixer away to someone who didn't have one and now I wish I would have kept it.
