Returning it. Very disappointed. Extremely heavy and not portable. Control to manually - yes manually - crank bowl up and down is difficult to use and on the right side, while the speed controls are on the left. Very difficult to lock bowl into place. Whatever is in the bowl splatters all over even on speed of 1, the lowest speed, and it does not come with a splash guard. Using the whip requires a lot of intermittent hand mixing because it doesn't scrape the bowl and misses lots of the ingredients. The attachments used for mixing do not lock into place properly and can fall off from vibration while mixing. My $68 Hamilton Beech mixer beats this one hands-down.

The Kitchen Aide mixer was purchased as gift for someone who is very interesting in baking. At a great price, the mixer is well worth it.

We use this for bread, cookies, brownies and more. Use quite often and we haven't had any issues. Would like to try making our own pasta.

I still haven’t opened it yet but honestly I don’t like the color Finnish at all. Caught it at $199

Smooth operation. Only downgraded to 4 star due to wife commenting that the bowl is hrs to get in and out without the tilting head.

I ordered this mixer online, (wasn't available at store locations )delivered straight to my door. So far it has worked great. Got it at a great price on sale too.

I bought it for a friend and she loves it. I also got it at a good price here on bestbuy.com. there are many complaints of the motor but no yet for us.

Very very loud compared to my smaller mixer. Squeals and is quite noisy

I like the kitchen aid classic build better but this get the job done...does make a weird grinding sound

This is a great mixer for bakers. The only thing o don’t like about it is that the stand doesn’t go back only the bowl goes up and down.

It's Great! Thick dough, no troubles! It's wonderful. The one problem, is attaching the bowl. Has to be done right to work, but it's very hard to do.

It does the job. It does not go along the edges evenly.

overall good and gets the job done, except the fact that sometimes I have to turn it on twice, cause it won't work from the first shot.

Can never go wrong with KitchenAid products. This was a bit to big for our kitchen, but works well

It was a bit difficult to assemble. Other than that it seems to be a good product.

Works well, but I wish the top tipped back to get attachments off easier. The bowl is a little difficult getting on but I'm sure I will get better at it.

Replaced older model - working fine so far. Bowls and speed setting indicators not as good a quality as old model.

Always wanted one for cooking and baking around the house. Happy with the purchase. Recommended for anyone who likes to bake or cook.
