Returned it for another, which had an unfinished rough edge on the product and other finish issues - for example, the silver metal band was recessed on one side and sticking out on the other. Can't remember if my wife tried a third time but, needless to say, we do not own one of these now. Never even got to try using it so I cannot attest to its performance - but at this price level the item should not have these blatant cosmetic flaws. Wound up buying a Breville BEM825BAL and that looks like it was quality checked by someone who cares.

I tried to baked several cakes (like the box mix you would buy at shoprite) but it doesn’t mix well since portions are too small for the 5 qt mixer. The bottom of the bowl need manual mixing, therefore what’s the point?

The way the bowl locks in to the mixer requires some force and see like it could have been implemented differently.

We recommend checking the beater to bowl clearance on the mixer if it is not reaching the bottom of the bowl for mixing all of the ingredients. I don’t have time to return yet but I will never buy anything again from Best Buy online
