It is a very pricey mixer, and the motor still can't handle a heavy mixture!

KitchenAid does offer a flex edge beater that will scrap the sides of the bowl as it is mixing. It is part KFEW6L.

I loved the look of it, but I would not have gone with the Pro series in retrospect because the arm does not tilt back like the artisan series. I will be regifting this to my sister and getting the artisan.

Product is nice however it is so difficult to purchase accessories. If you try to find accessories on amazon or on the kitchenaid website doesnt fit this model even though the site says it does.
