I have purchased this mixer as a replacement for the smaller version as it had a bigger motor. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed. Cons: -the motor is heating in about 3 minutes of mixing bread loaf made out of 1.6 lbs of flour -dark oil leaks from the mixer in the pan where the loaf is mixed -the mixer needs to be held in place otherwise it shakes extremely bad -customer service; practically inexistent Pros: -none

Product was damaged upon opening. One of the feet were broken off and product was sold out so no exchange possible.

This kitchen aid stand mixer was terrible. The mixer blades didn't even mix up the ingredients and the bowl coating came of on the dough.

Getting the bowl on and off is tricky. The power on the new mixer does not compare to my old tilted mixer I got in 1987. Disappointing

Loud...Loud... so disappointed. I waited a long time to purchase a new mixer.

Love that it’s quiet and efficient. But it is difficult to scape down the sides.

Returned this stand mixer as I like my previous style much better. I didn't care for the way the head lowers rather than tilts. I felt it would be more difficult to add ingredients.

I have an older mixer that I have had for 16 years. Decide to update due to the excellent sale Best Buy was having on it. After I plugged the mixer in and turned it on, there was something clearly wrong with the motor. Horrible grinding noise. Returned it - Best Buy was excellent. Overall, I believe I simply received a bad one. KitchenAid is a great product.

Nothing fancy. Just your basic washer and dryer. But that’s what I wanted. I didn’t want to pay for the frills. Clothes are clean and dry just like the more expensive units.

This is a good starting point for stand mixer. I only wish the attachment reached the bottom of bowl and scrapped the sides also. Other than that it is a good mixer.

The bowl is a little hard to get on properly. And it is going to take a little bit of usage to get use to which pieces to use in accordance to what type of batter.

The actual beater part of the mixer does a great job, however when trying to align the bowl with the two holders on either side, and the specific spot in the back, the bowl goes on and comes off way too hard. I feel like I’m going to break or bend the stabilizers holding the bowl in place. Once it’s on there, the mixer works great, but it’s a battle to get the bowl where it needs to be.

My first use of this mixer was a disaster! After mixing 2 cups of butter, 3 cups of sugar, 6 eggs, flour etc., there were "streaks" of a grey substance in the batter; the "stainless steel" bowl also gave streaks of some substance. Needless to say I threw away the batter and returned the mixer. I found out later after seeing the professional mixer at another store that the lever to raise the bowl was missing the grip handle; I currently have a Classic kitchen aid and it is far superior. The only reason I wanted another mixer was to increase the mixer's capacity.

Nothing special, glad I got it on sale. Is also missing one of the fittings it sits upon hopefully we can get a replacement.k

For a casual user, this mixer is fine. I was trying to downgrade from a KitchenAid Pro and this one couldn't cut it for me. It doesn't scrape the bowl close enough for heavy use.

I think it’s a great deal for the price I just don’t really like the fact that you have to use the handle to raise the bowl up so that the mixer can get to the bottom

Bought the professional model because I thought it would have better features than the artisan model but I think I would have rather had the tilt mixer instead of the bowl lift.

Not my favorite mixer, is very loud to operate and sometimes doesn’t turn on right away

Since the description was silver I was disappointed to find it is actually battleship gray and did not look good on my counter so sent it back and got a red which is beautiful.

Received the package quickly but not as advertised there is no plastic cover for the bowl. The screw is missing for the attachments. The bowl was filthy and it had some kind of polishing agent in and out, it smelled like it came right off of a lathe in a machine shop... also on this model there is no handle to raise the bowl... why? This is supposed to be professional grade but it is not...
