    I am very disappointed with my mixer. I have to struggle to attach the mixing bowl to the mixer. The pins aren't aligned for easy attachment. I tried to cream butter and sugar but the paddle wasn't reaching the bottom and sides so it wouldn't cream my mixture. I tried to use the adjustment screw but that didn't adjust the paddle. I am returning the mixer and trying a different model.l saved a while to get a new mixer and I was so proud of it but now I am disappointed in my new upgrade.

    bought this right before I went out of town, came back and opened it very excited to use it, was missing pieces, apparently, they just repackage things and send them out as they see fit, by the time I got around to finally opening the box it was non-returnable (17 days). I used to love best buy but they seem to be going the way of circuit city. don't get me wrong it was a phenomenal deal but moving forward I'd just buy it off amazon where I actually have time to open and test the product (30 days) before it can't be exchanged for something that has already been used.

    Has been making noise since I bought ut

    It has been making a really bad squealing sound since I bought it at Christmas. I took it to Best Buy in Knoxville but they were so rude and told me it was supposed to sound that way... they never even tried to listen to it. I tried to swap it out but he said that it was a holiday deal and I may have to pay the difference. Very disappointed. It now is shoved under the counter and I use a hand mixer

    Broke After 5 Mins of Use

    I bake a lot and always wanted a kitchen aid mixer, because they are considered the best. I had another brand mixer for over a decade, , but wanted the best. I was severely disappointed after using it for only 5 minutes it stopped working. I returned it to the store for an exchange, and was told it would be shipped to me within 5 days. I waited 5 days and did not receive my mixer, called customer service only to be told that the order did not exist. I had to go back to the store. There I was told that the order was not properly entered into the system, and I had to wait another 7 days. That's where we are now I will keep you posted if and when I receive my replacement mixer. I know occasionally products are bad, but I expected better service from best buy. I have shopped with best buy in store and online for over 12 years, and this is the first time this has happened. I hope customer service will improve.

    Love kitchenaid stand mixer by the capacity and probability it brings . But the one I got from Black Friday sale has griding and screeching sound when use, I want an exange but it is all out of stuck... I guess return or fix it is my only option now.

    The beater must be removed before the bowl. This is very inconvenient, makes a mess.

    Brand new out of the box and needed maintenance. The return window is 2 weeks and it’s a pain to contact kitchenaide. This was a mistake, I regret this purchase completely.

    Do not buy this product at Best Buy if you are planning to give this as a gift to someone. I gave this to my parent for Christmas. I bought it on a sale just 7 days before the holiday return policy dates. Which I didn’t think would be an issue. Come to find out they would not let him exchange it for the more expensive model and pay the increase. Worst return policy out there and I will never shop at Best Buy again. With policies like this it’s a wonder you are still in business.

    Was defective and had to exchange it. The replacement came in with black marks in the bowl. I thought ok, i will just wash it. Nope, didnt come out. I contacted Kitchenaid on Instagram, hoping they will just replace the bowl, so i would have to exchange it AGAIN. They said, sorry for the frustration, that happens sometimes. Huh? That's it? Returned it, bought a Cuisinart and love it. I have a smaller Kitchenaid and tbh, its made way better than this one anyway. Even the bowl is thicker. The one with the lift, that bowl is cheap, as well as the attachments. Oh well.

    I really wanted to like this mixer but it's big and noisy. I found the lift mechanism more difficult to use than it should be.

    I have the tilt head and this was on sale so I wanted to try it. The dough hook doesn’t go down enough to pickup the flour on the bottom of bowl. I will stay with my tilt head model.
