Great mixer for the price. We have just used it for a couple of items, but no complaints.

had planned on purchasing this for a long time due to d price but its all worth it.

I am trying to get used to the beater not reaching the edge of the bowl. Odd. Need to constantly scrape the sides. The whisking beater is not dishwasher safe. Also odd. The motor is loud and whiny. I think there is a good reason for this low price. Not sure it was such a good deal. Love the color tho :)

So far it came from bestbuy missing a part. Haven’t used it it. Will follow.

Great mixer only thing missing from this model was the pour lid for the bowl

Gave this mixer a try. Works good but is easy to over mix. Air got into batter and over flowed all over my oven made a giant mess cake came out blah.

I got it on discount. I would pay full price for it.

The only complain I have is the head doesn't tilt, otherwise it works great

After purchasing this stand mixer, I was really excited that now I could easily make dough with it. But when I received it yesterday, I was really surprised on the fact that it looked like a used product. I found lots of scratches on its wire whip and the flat beater where they hit the bowl. Moreover, the flat beater's coating was chipped off and its powder was falling from the chipped area. Since I was planning to use this machine right away, this powder could be added into my bread if I did not notice it. Now I have to wait till my husband's day off to return this huge machine (since it's too heavy for me to return it by myself). Great disappointment after figuring that I received a used product and too sad to wait till next weekend to make bagels. I would recommend people to buy this product from offline.

This is an inferior mixer. Seems like they were made just for this discounted price. It is not a higher quality mixer at a discounted price. I got what I paid for..$249+tax

I bought this model just to upgrade from my tilt head Kitchen aid mixer which i had for 13 years and it worked absolutely fine. I thought i'd spend the money I did to get a more powerful machine. Little did I know that this machine would not even last 2 years. As I was getting ready to make Xmas cookies.. i turned on the machine and literally 5 minutes into creaming the butter..my machine stopped working. At first, i thought it was the outlet.. but it was my machine. The motor didn't smell... it didn't make any noise ..it just went off and didn't turn on again. I called kitchen aid in regards to this matter and they were not so helpful either. As i examined my machine.. i realized BEST BUY sent me the wrong bowl with my mixer. i bought professional 5plus and it's suppose to come with a 5QT bowl but mine came with a 6QT bowl. I believe that's what caused my machine to just die as it is not recommended to use a 6QT bowl with a professional 500 series. I am so frustrated because no one is willing to help me either. i'd say save your money and DON'T invest in this 500 dollar machine. Also.. when you order anything from BEST BUY... make sure they send you what you have actually ordered.. i was sent the wrong item and i didn't realize as 6qt is only to be found on top of the bowl handle. i will not be buying anything from BEST BUY. I called BEST BUY and was told that they can't do anything about it now. i would not recommend buying this product and definitely not from BEST BUY. i'm one very unhappy customer. if you purchase this.. make sure you buy warranty because otherwise you're looking into spending more as thus machine won't last.

It was a gift. Can't review. Great gift... It was requested.

I bought this mixer and I was so happy to have it. But when I opened it I just found a big scratch on it so They changed it to me with another one to find the new one has a very loud noise and it looks like something squeaking inside I am really disappointed

We were super excited to get this mixer but after only using it sporadically for about a year the mixer will often shut down after a few minutes of mixing and will not restart for extended periods of time. We still have our older, smaller KitchenAid but were heartbroken when our "upgrade" failed us.
