Works like a dream! I don't have to stand there holding the hand mixer. All I need now is the spatula beater to scrape the sides while it's mixing. I love it and the red is so pretty. It's heavy so where I put it is where it's stayin!

Kitchen Aid is he standard for home cooks. the attachments make it useful for most of my baking needs. I make cookies where dough is very stiff. At the end when I add nuts, raisins, etc. I switch to the dough hook which mixes without smushing.

After much searching online for this mixer, I found the cheapest price at Best Buy. This was my wife's birthday gift. Really got me some points with her. She uses the same mixer at work (she is a cook in a nursing home) and she knows this is the best mixer on the market. It is the Cadillac of stand mixers.

Our first kitchen aid lasted almost 28 years and still worked but was slowing down. For our 28th wedding anniversary we decided to get a new one. It's very good! The only disappointment is the main mixer paddle is not coated steel anymore but aluminum. I don't forsee this paddle lasting for years and anticipate we'll need to buy a replacement down the road in a few years. It's a shame since its not an inexpensive mixer. If it wasn't for this, the rating would be 5.

Bought this mixer and a few other accessories for my daughters college graduation. She has wanted one for quite some time to continue with her chosen field. The look on her face was priceless and she was baking the same day. this machine is built well and will last her for a long time.

I lost my first Kitchenaid mixer in my divorce, so one of my first purchases afterwards was a new one! These things are fantastic, have the ability to cleanly mix anything I've thrown at it. I haven't ventured into the attachments yet, but that will be my next purchase!

The mixer works great and seems to make things easier in the kitchen. It is easy to clean and looks great on the counter. One of the nicest things is that you don't have to look for all the pieces for the handheld mixer and a bowl because everything is in one place ready to go.
