The mixer is great for quick every day use. The mixer in the color red is beautiful.

The beaters are thin, especially compared to "old school" beaters, but these are AWESOME. The mixer is smooth, quiet, lightweight but heavy duty, and five perfect speeds. It's powerful. Plus, it's KitchenAid, so you know it's quality, especially with regards to their mixers.
