The highest speed isn't super fast, but it gets the job done. It's light and doesn't make my arm tired after using it for a little while, so that's good too.

Wanted to get her an upgrade. She loves this mixer. Works great for her. We looked at the bigger Kitchaide mixers that sit on the counter. The wife didn’t want one that always sat out. I picked this one instead.
