This item does not support the add on items. The bowl has no handle. The attachments are aluminum not the normal stainless steel so the are not dishwasher safe.

I bought this for my wife as a great Christmas surprise, ( Food scientists ). She loves it, makes baking and mixing so much easier. It's all metal and heavy! This mixer will be used by our grandkids when we have any lol. The price is so worth the results. Easy to use, adjust and it will outlast everything used in your kitchen even the oven and fridge!

I bought this with intentions of baking cookies, and have been making anything possible. Because of the high power, mixing anything is fast and easy. The only drawback is that the bowl does not have the handle and there is no pouring shield. But I've managed so far with out them. As with any Kitchenaid stand mixer, make sure you have the counter space for it since it is too heavy to be moving around a lot. tip: if you plan on purchasing any accessories make sure you search for your model specifically since there are 2 sizes. Too many people gave poor reviews for attachments because they got the wrong size.

It's a good mixer but I needed something that would hold up better with tougher mixes. The person I talked to said this one would be fine. Well it's not. It starts to shake if something is to tuff and allows down like it's struggling. So when I tried to return it a day after the return date to get the next one up. They said I couldn't. It was so stupid.

I purchase this item for my friend on December 2016, never used the item as was out of country for one and half month, try to run the machine, yesterday it wasn't working, machines gets hot and just make sound and the blade doesn't move at all. Will check with Best Buy how can they keep the that kind of stuff..Its all with trust we buy the product, was very sad knowing that first day we tried and it's does not work.

We just ordered the Ultra Power model in empire red. However I have a cobalt blue Kitchenaid Ultra Power Stand Mixer that I have had for over 20 years . Let me tell you, this is by far, my favorite small appliance and I will use nothing but this exceptional piece of equipment to make my cheesecakes. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever and even after 20+ years, it still runs like it is brand new. I love, love, love this thing. In fact, I love it so much, that I told my husband that when it "dies", I want to bury it in the backyard. Lol. Now it is still in perfect working condition, but the only reason we bought a new one is because we were wanting an "upgrade" to match our color scheme of our kitchen, which is red. Not too mention the fact that the price was way to good to pass up. I highly recommend two things for the mixer. One is the paddle attachment that has the scraper blade on it. The other is the pasta maker attachment. It's a bit pricey, but it's so worth it to be able to make your own pasta. Now, with all that being said, you really owe it to yourself to purchase this stand mixer. It may be pricier than some, but it is worth every penny. Trust me. This is an investment that will last you a lifetime. I speak from experience. :)

Because Kenmore sells a competitive mixer, red, nice design, way less expensive, I bought it to try to save money. Got it home. Looks nice, nice features, but turn it on and...... tremendous loud motor at any speed. I could not stand it at all! I thought of all the hours over the years in the kitchen, listening to THAT! No! No way! Took it back right away and turned to the internet to find the sale at BestBuy.! $239. for red! Could have paid $199.00 for white,but, well, I want red! I ordered online, picked-up within 2 hours. The KitchenAid brand is not just hype! This is nice, quiet at every speed, beautiful operation, nicely crafted, three essential mixing tools. Wish there was a handle on the bowl like Kenmore had, but oh well!

I bought this to replace the hand held mixer that I've had for years (also a KitchenAid). I started making cakes for family and friends and the buttercream icing that I make was just too much for the hand-held, so I purchased this mixer. It has been great with heavy batters and icings. I enjoy being able to turn it on and continue working on something else while it is mixing! It is a bit heavy so I leave it out on the counter. Very happy with my purchase!

LOVE THIS MIXER AND ALL IT HAS TO GO WITH IT. I HAD ONE AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS MADE FOR IT. I LOVED IT. WE MADE PASTAS, SAUSAGE LINKS, DOUGH, WE GROUND OUR OWN MEAT. IT'S A FANTASTIC APPLIANXCE TO HAVE AND USE. LASTS LONGER THAN WE DID.

Still made from heavy cast metal and durable parts. This device is a powerful tool in any kitchen. No regrets for this purchase!

This mixer works great. I've used it for cookies, cakes, frosting, etc. and have absolutely no complaints. There's plenty of power for what I need! The only disappointment is I wish there would be an additional smaller bowl for frosting. The large bowl works but think a smaller bowl would be better. (I had that with my old mixer.) Suppose I will get used to the larger bowl.

bought this for my wife this past xmass and she loves it. I bought a few attachments for it as well and it is amazing. we both use it almost every day.

If you bake this is a must! Cookies and cakes are now a breeze. Even things that I used to dread making like Guinness bread because the dough is so thick and hard to work with. Whipped cream is perfect and Madeleines are so light and fluffy, a must for any serious baker.
