I selected this product for testing on name sake alone. If you have ever been in anyone's kitchen who fancies themselves a baker, then you have seen a big KitchenAid mixer... So, I wanted to see if I could keep up with the Jones’ too. I do have a genuinely nice blender (several) and even some that specializes in smoothies and whatnot. But I was still excited to play with this gadget and we have not been disappointed. The blender is a bit larger and even possibly heavier than I expected. But rationale for this when you power her up and see that she is rocking a Porsche engine (jk). There is a certain power that comes to you while using this instrument of blending chaos and the look and feel of the device exploits this vibe in me. It very sturdy and quite cute (we have the powder blue). The unit is not super quiet but not noisy. The head snaps off easily for cleaning too. We have made this item a staple on our countertop because of the ease and proficiency it offers. We blend smoothies for the kids before school and after practices. We mix, blend, or even puree for meal prep and baking. My son has gotten in the habit of mixing everything with it, even while cooking on the stove (I do not recommend but he is having fun and he is a careful young man). Overall, this KitchenAid hand mixer has lived up to the brand awareness I had, and I have been pleased with almost every aspect of it. I might like to try the cordless but worry the power might be the same and I think I would like some different heads. Again, all in all a complete here!

I’m still trying to figure out what’s its function? I used it to mix a pie filling… but I ended up pulling out the blender.

just used it a couple of times but very easy to use very easy to clean
