As a trusted brand in kitchen appliances, KitchenAid continues to impress with this hand blender, combining sleek design with strong performance. Here’s a detailed review of the KHBV53: Design: The Black Matte finish of the KitchenAid KHBV53 hand blender gives it a modern, professional look that fits seamlessly into any kitchen. The matte color resists fingerprints and smudges, which is a nice touch for keeping the blender looking clean and elegant. Its ergonomic design is comfortable to hold, and the handle feels sturdy yet lightweight, making it easy to grip during extended use without straining your hand. The blender features a long, slim shaft that provides a deep reach into bowls, pots, and pitchers. This design allows you to blend large quantities of ingredients without making a mess or splattering, which is a huge plus in terms of both convenience and cleanliness. Performance: One of the standout features of the KHBV53 is its variable speed dial, which allows you to adjust the speed based on your needs. Whether you’re blending soft fruits for a smoothie or pureeing thick soups, the variable speeds provide control and precision, ensuring the perfect texture every time. With its 250-watt motor, this hand blender is more than capable of handling a variety of tasks, including blending, chopping, and emulsifying. The motor is powerful enough to easily crush ice, blend tough ingredients like frozen berries, and create smooth purees or batters. The blender operates quietly, even at higher speeds, which is a nice bonus for those who prefer a less disruptive kitchen experience. Attachments: The KHBV53 comes with multiple attachments to enhance its versatility: Blending Arm: The standard attachment that makes it easy to blend soups, sauces, smoothies, and more. It’s designed to reach deep into pots and large bowls. Whisk Attachment: Ideal for whipping cream, egg whites, or making light batters and sauces. It’s a great addition for bakers and those who enjoy making delicate dishes. Chopper Attachment: This attachment is perfect for chopping nuts, herbs, or small vegetables, expanding the hand blender’s functionality even further. Each attachment clicks easily into place, making switching between tasks a breeze. The detachable parts are also dishwasher-safe, ensuring an easy cleanup after use. Ease of Use: The KitchenAid KHBV53 hand blender is incredibly user-friendly. The variable speed dial allows you to adjust the power level with a simple twist, providing full control over your blending needs. The one-hand operation feature makes it easy to blend or whisk with minimal effort. Additionally, the ergonomically designed handle reduces wrist strain, allowing for a comfortable and secure grip during use. Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning the KHBV53 is straightforward. The detachable blending arm and attachments are all dishwasher safe, so cleanup is as simple as popping them into the dishwasher. For a more thorough clean, the blending arm can also be rinsed under water. The motor unit should be wiped down with a damp cloth to avoid water damage, but other than that, maintenance is low-effort. Price: The KitchenAid KHBV53 is priced higher than some other hand blenders on the market, but the quality and durability make it well worth the investment. For those who frequently blend, puree, or whisk ingredients, the performance and versatility of this model justify the price. Conclusion: The KitchenAid Variable Speed Corded Hand Blender (KHBV53) in Black Matte is a powerful, versatile, and sleek kitchen tool that is ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking or baking. With its comfortable design, powerful motor, and multiple attachments, it excels in various tasks from making smoothies to whipping creams and chopping herbs. The variable speed control and quiet operation add a level of precision and convenience that makes it stand out in a crowded market. If you’re looking for a hand blender that offers great value and reliable performance, the KHBV53 is an excellent choice. Whether you're an experienced cook or just someone who appreciates quality kitchen appliances, this hand blender will make food prep easier and more enjoyable.

Great hand mixer.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely the best hand mixer! It’s powerful, easy to store, and simple to clean. The non-scratch design is a big plus, especially in delicate cookware. The blue color is nice, too. I always trust KitchenAid. A GOOD UPGRADE TO A GREAT PRODUCT
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A GOOD UPGRADE TO A GREAT PRODUCT REVIEW: KitchenAid - Hand Blender - Ink Blue Best Buy Tech Insider Network SUMMARY: We had an older model KitchenAid Hand Blender that we have enjoyed for years. The latest model is a nice upgrade with a variable speed trigger to allow for fine control over speed without fussing with other controls. The optionally attached pan protector makes a lot of sense as well. The older version seemed to have a more powerful top speed, although we rarely used it. Once you get used to the variable speed it was a pleasure to use and it helps prevent splashing. I would recommend this for anyone in the market for a hand powered immersion blender. UNBOXING: (see picture) INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Very well packaged. Seems like a quality product that is well made, very sturdy, well balanced. USING THE UNIT: Worked well on Soup, Smoothies, Shakes, Steamed Vegetables, Salad Dressing, and more. BEST FEATURES: Variable Speed Trigger Pan Guard Protector SUMMARY: As a retired professional chef, no kitchen is complete without an immersion blender, and this KitchenAid is well made solid unit. It will make you a better all around cook.

Easy to use and easy to clean, powerful too
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This KitchenAid corded Hand Blender blends makes quick work of anything you need to blend, mix or puree. The variable speed trigger gives you precise control over mixing speed. The removeable 8-inch (20.3 cm) blending arm has a 4-point stainless steel blade and it is easy to clean. When assembled the blender is about 16 inches long, balanced and easy to control. The corded hand blender is about 9 ½” inches long without the blending arm making it easy to store. The “bell” around the 4-point blade protects the bottom and sides of containers from the blades. Use the included pan guard to protect non-stick pots and pans from the edges of the “bell”. The included 3-cup (700 ml) BPA-free Jar with Lid is the perfect size for fresh home-made pizza sauce, scrambled eggs/omelets, quick smoothie, shake or blended drink. This is replacing our old 2-speed hand blender with way too much plastic in the blending arm and flimsy blades. We really love the variable speed control, easy to clean metal blending arm and stonger 4-point blade on this KitchenAid model.

Kitchen aid blender
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This corded hand blender has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen! I For the price, I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. The motor is surprisingly powerful. It effortlessly blends everything I've thrown at it, from frozen fruit for smoothies to thick soups and even hummus. I was a little worried about it struggling with ice, but it handles it like a champ. The blending is quick and consistent I appreciate the simple design. Kitchen aid is the best brand. The cord is a decent length, giving me enough room to maneuver around the kitchen without being cumbersome. The buttons are also conveniently placed and easy to press, even with wet hands. While it's a corded model, I haven't found the cord to be too much of a hassle. Honestly, the consistent power and reliable performance are worth the minor inconvenience. Plus, I don't have to worry about charging it! If you're looking for an affordable and reliable hand blender, I highly recommend this one. It's perfect for everyday use and has quickly become one of my most-used kitchen gadgets. Definitely a great purchase from Best Buy!

hand mixer vs. hand blender
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read every review of this item before purchasing. There were pros and cons to go around, but I settled on this hand blender and the KitchenAid name due to the quality of my mixer so I took a chance. And I am glad I did. I have yet to experience any cons. Before I was using a hand held mixer over my pot filled with cooking dates to blend them into a creamy filling for my maple date nut bars and even on the lowest speed it splattered. NOT SO this great device. I could easily handle this blending dates in the same pot without splatter. Also, it is lighter and easier to handle which is better for my arthritis. Easy clean up, too.

Hand blender for every day use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.>> Summary The KitchenAid feels very solid and well-constructed, a hand blender that looks destined for everyday use. The blending arm is metallic, and it is easy to clean. This package comes with a pan guard that you can attach to the metallic end of the blender if you worry about damaging your pan when blending. The variable speed feature makes it easy to blend different concoctions, from very coarse or with big chunks of organic material, to a very fine substance. Not very much else to say, it does its job. - Pros: easy to move around, easy to clean, variable speed, very effective blending. - Cons: a little too big (well it looks like it is the standard hand-blender size). >> Contents in the package It comes with: - the hand blender in two pieces to be assembled. - a pan guard. - a blending jar. >> Blending We use this hand blender for blending most of our sauces, smoothies and soups now. Although it is a hand blender, and it would seem that the amount of substance to blend has to be small, we have used it for blending soups/creams up to about a gallon. So, this device can tackle bigger jobs. I love the variable speed feature of the KitchenAid hand mixed, the harder you push the button the faster it rotates, so it is very intuitive to use. We look forward to using this hand blender frequently. >> Other thoughts I’ve owned a couple of other hand blenders, and it looks like they had a similar size and weight to this KitchenAid. I am not sure if there is a standard size and weight for a hand blender, but I wished this was a little smaller and lighter (perhaps not much that can be done if there are physical design constraints). I wish that it came with a mixer attachment or adapter. I had another hand blender that came with one, and it made our life easier working in the kitchen. I did some research online, and it looks like there are other KitchenAid models that come with the mixer; just consider this when contemplating buying this product. I do not really use the blending jar. I got used to blend in big cups, pans, etc.

Handy blender
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, you control the speed by how firm you hold the trigger down, and it's reasonably sensitive. The faster you go it will tend to suck the blender down towards to the bottom of the pot, so if you're concerned about metal on metal contact, there's an included plastic guard you can mount onto the bottom rim of the blender cup. The cord isn't that long, but if you have an outlet near your range, it's fine and it keeps excess cord out of the way. Powerful enough for me just making soups, etc.

Great immersion blender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the cordless version at home, but needed another immersion blender at work. It works immensely better than the ancient Black & Decker one I used to have. Like the one at home, I appreciate the fact that the blender arm is solid at the bottom, rather than in multiple parts like the old B&D. There is a single button on this one to control speed, rather than the two on the grip of my cordless. The length of the cord is ok for me, because I just use the counter by the outlet. The main problem is with the sound. Every person who has heard me use it has to come and see what is making the racket. For work, I don't mind the cord, but definitely appreciate the cordless at home.
