    Stopped Working

The audio was great while it was working but after a little over a year the soundbar stopped working. We contacted Klipsch and they will not do anything to support the device since it's over 12 months old. They told us to go buy a new soundbar. In reading online reviews, this is a consistent issue with the 600.

I’ve never been a sound bar guy. I have always owned separate receivers and speakers. I needed something different for a large open living room than a standard home theater system. I just couldn’t find a sound bar I wanted to try until I saw the new Klipsch sound bar line up. Owning original Forte II’s and KG 2’s I’ve built a trust in the Klipsch brand. I pulled the trigger and ordered the Cinema 600 when I saw it was in stock and on sale. So far movies are much more enjoyable with clarity and fuller sound. Highs are clean, mids are full and bass delivers. The 10” sub is what enticed me after Klipsch’s reputation. Music is very impressive and enjoyable with this system. Tv speakers today are not made to deliver any sort of audio experience. The instructions are basic yet it is pretty much plug and play with one hdmi cable and two power cords. My Sony tv and remote automatically controlled the volume levels right out of the box. The illuminated Klipsch remote is a huge plus and sticks to the basic audio functions.

    Great if/when it works

After 2 years of owning this system along with the paired rear speakers, I have to write an unexpected and unfortunately poor review. At a bit under a year, within warranty, my first system failed and would not power on. I talked to Best Buy and they said to contact Klipsch - I did, and Klipsch warranty replaced the bar and sub. A few months later system 2 failed - this time I could not get sound out if it from any input method, and once again Klipsch replaced it. A couple of months later and system 3 failed. Initially a factory reset brought it back to life, but less than a month later it failed once again. I am currently on system number 4 and within a week it has already failed once. Factory reset didn't work this time, but unplugging it for 20 minutes did. At this point I'm waiting for this system to fail - almost no doubt that it will. This is in a 3 year old newly built house connected to a TCL tv purchased at the same time as the soundbar, new cables, etc. Klipsch support has been fantastic, but I believe at this point the product is just not very good - it certainly has not lived up to the quality I have come to expect from Klipsch over the years. In two years of owning the system, I've managed maybe 14 months of actual use. Klipsch has done a fair job of trying to remedy the situation, but it's clear this fourth system is going to fail. Best Buy has refused to step in, and at some point Klipsch is going to stop replacing failed systems. Overall very very disappointed.

Would not power on after a year

The soundbar failed after a little over a year. Like a lot of other reviewers, mine would not power on. From the volume of similar complaints, it seems like this is a known defect. I don’t know why Klipsch smears their reputation by selling products with known faults. I won’t be buying their products again.

For the price you really can't go wrong with this sound bar. Nice wood material and Klipsch sound. You can also buy the surround 3 speakers to make this a 5.1 system. Honestly the only thing missing is Dolby Atmos which I believe is coming down the line in the bar 54. All in all I'm pretty impressed and would recommend this.

I went thru 2 soundbar’s before I bought this one. I am very happy with it, it is a totally different experience. Klipsch was smart w a number of features: dialog button on the remote amplifies the voice, the remote lights up when it is moved, great subwoofer and 600 watts doesn’t hurt.

The audio was a wonderful experience but will no longer powering on. I tried troubleshooting but without success. Hopefully Klipsch can contact me on how to fix this issue.

Pleased even though optical input doesn’t work

The reason for 3 stars is that the digital audio input never has worked but Bluetooth and hdmi (ARC) inputs work. This sound bar actually works great and sounds amazing, I wouldn’t say it’s audiophile quality for music but movies and tv are great. Night mode is good for quieting excess base at night to not wake my children, and the dialog settings are good for projecting voices more clearly. I let my 11 y/old daughter Bluetooth her music to it so she doesn’t screw up my home stereo lol.

I gave it 3 stars, but I am actually not sure as far as the quality of the sound bar, but I wouldn't expect to get this on the time promised. I will review to actual product if I ever receive it. If I was ordering this for a Christmas gift I may consider looking elsewhere.

The klipsch web page shows this sound bar with a phone app and sound eq. Regretfully that doesn't exist. The sub over powers the mids even with the volume turned down. So the sound is just ok. The voice eq button works but your left with unbalanced sound. Contact support and get no response.

    Weak and Hollow sound.

Poor sound quality all together. It sounds like you’re in a a box listening to your movies. Hollow and weak. That subwoofer is for show and does nothing but give weak thumps. I spent over 2 hours trying different setups and tweaks and still it never produced a decent sound. I have owned many Klipsch products from surround sound systems to headphones and currently run the R-51s on my turntable setup and those sound 10x better than this paperweight. I feel for the money Klipsch products usually are top notch but for this Soundbar, Sorry Klipsch you missed the mark again on a soundbar. I won’t recommend another Soundbar brand because everyone is different but I will recommend on leaving this one on the shelf.
