Setting a soundbar in a small 9x12 bedroom. Got an open box model for $166, all hardware was in the box. Plus used my $5 coupon. I tested the movie Taken today and it sounded great even without a sub. I’m suprised how good the bass is without a sub. The dialog modes really help the voices come forward. The bass settings are all easily adjustable and noticeable. The night mode is very good in that your neighboring rooms won’t be disturbed. Remote is easy to use. There’s an app also which i haven’t tested but i have downloaded. At this price point this is hard to beat. Downside is that it wont fit under my TV and will need a TV wall mount to raise the tv a but and remove the OEM stands. I plan to run a sub in the near future and the surrounds. I’m running a Sony Bravia 3 TV btw. Great picture! And now fantastic sound!

I had this soundbar delivered to my house. I was surprised at how well packaged this soundbar was and how much care they put into making sure it would arrive safely. There was even a handle on the box to help carry it and let me tell you it is needed as the box is heavy. Inside the main box are two smaller boxes. these two smaller boxes contain the remote, batteries, HDMI cable, manual, power cable, and even brackets to mount it to a wall with screws. It really seems like Klipsch went the extra mile to make sure the user gets a premium experience right from the beginning. This really set the tone for how the rest of my experience was going to be with this soundbar. Once unpackaged and plugged in I downloaded the app to make sure everything was up to date. As other users have noticed the app really isn't that great, it works but there is not too much to do with it once you have the soundbar setup. I first connected my iphone 14 to the soundbar via Bluetooth. The process was very effortless and using Apple music the sound quality was fantastic even at high volume in a large room. I did increase the bass to max and changed the mode to music. The bass did not shake the walls or rattle the cabinets, but it was still very crisp and noticeable. Next, I watched a movie that had a lot of action, sounds, etc. This soundbar kept up and everything was very clear and immersive. Aside from not having a sub or surround speakers, this was very comparable to my more expensive soundbar and if you add those missing items, you will have a very premium soundbar. A dedicated sub would be great, but they take up space, for a small space (condo, apartment, bedroom) there wouldn't be a need as this soundbar really does provide a good amount of bass. However, if you really want to you can easily add a sub via the input that Klipsch put on the soundbar. This really caught me off guard as I have never seen this option with a soundbar as they usually want you to purchase their sub or upgrade to a different soundbar. I did not have the option to try out this input, but per the instructions it seems just plug and play and the soundbar with automatically make adjustments. You can also add rear surround speakers, but you would need to purchase these from Klipsch. It's great that Klipsch made this soundbar expandable with being able to purchase surround sound speakers and adding a sub. For my needs I do not see a need to add these additional items as the soundbar already sounds great in my bedroom. This soundbar is also pretty compact and can easily fit into small spots. This is why I would recommend this for an area where you want better sound but don't want something that takes up a lot of space. My favorite thing is that this soundbar actually displays volume, input, etc on the front. I have some soundbars where they rely on different colored LEDS or flashing LEDS, etc to provide information to the user. Even if those soundbars sound great the user experience is horrible since you have to remember what the LED's mean. Overall, this is a solid soundbar that allows for expansion if you feel the need to later on. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again if I needed another soundbar.

The Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 2.1 Soundbar is a true thing of beauty - both visually and aurally! The setup was extremely easy. I plugged in the provided HDMI cable and connected it to my TV and I plugged in the power cord. From there, I easily connected to the soundbar from my iPhone via bluetooth. I listened to a playlist and it sounded simply outstanding. I then watched some TV and the sound from the soundbar was very good and perfectly in sync with the TV. I did have some issues initially with crackling sounds emitting from the soundbar when the soundbar was playing audio from the TV. To remedy this, I unplugged and replugged the HDMI cable and there have been no further problems. If you have this issue, be sure to check the cables because it could be just that simple. It has since been working flawlessly and I am able to switch back and forth easily between the TV audio and a playlist whether I play it from my iPhone or my laptop. It has connected easily to all bluetooth I have tried - my phone, MacBook and PC. This soundbar is smaller than most in size but it is huge on sound and weighs in at 10 pounds! This has 2 - 2.25" ceramic drivers and 2 - 4" built in subwoofers. It doesn't come with an external subwoofer but if you feel it is needed, you can purchase them to expand your sound system. Personally, I enjoy the compact soundbar and am liking not giving up floor space to a subwoofer. For now, I think it sounds fantastic as it is and have found that the louder it is, the better it sounds. This thing can blast, as it should, being powered by Onkyo and made by Klipsch. These are 2 names I know I can rely on for great sound. I was watching a movie just now and I heard footsteps and I thought someone was coming into my room... but it was the TV... someone was approaching. Great immersive sound! The Klipsch Connect Plus app is where the initial setup took place. There are a few settings that can be adjusted from within the app such as a basic equalizer allowing you to adjust bass, treble and mid for a custom setting. They have supplied some presets as well. The soundbar manual can even be accessed via the app. I love this Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 2.1 Soundbar. The sound is superb, it was easy to setup, pretty to look at and small enough to not be in your face with its size. Connections have been uncomplicated and steady. This is a soundbar I would very highly recommend to anyone looking for a extraordinary sounding smallish soundbar or anyone looking for a great sounding soundbar to build upon later.

As a home audio enthusiast, gamer, and audiophile, I was excited to test the Klipsch Flexus Core 100 soundbar. The Klipsch Flexus Core was designed with Onkyo and together they built one of the best soundbars in its class. I'm really impressed by the big sound and bass coming out of this compact speaker. The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 2.1 soundbar is a great choice for people wanting better sound without the clutter of more cables and speakers. *Design/Build The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 gives you premium sound with 2.1 speakers but it's also beautifully designed. Two main speakers for left and right sounds, and a built-in subwoofer for bass. This soundbar is small and compact, which is great for people who don't want a big, bulky speaker system. It's 28 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 3 inches tall. That means it can fit nicely under most TVs without getting in the way. Weighing 10 pounds, it's solid but not too heavy to move around if needed. It's powered by a 100 watt RMS amplifier. The Flexus Core 100 looks really slick with its wooden craftmanship. This is a serious upgrade for any soundbar. The front has a black cloth cover that protects the speakers and blends into the design well. On top, there are touch buttons to change volume and settings. These are easy to use and respond quickly when you touch them. There's also a small screen on the front that shows what's happening with the sound. This is really helpful because you can see things like volume level and which sound mode you're using without having to guess. You can easily see the volume level across the room with the white LEDs displaying front center. *Features/Specs The Flexus Core 100 has a lot of features packed into its small size. It has two small speakers (2.25 inches each) for clear high and middle sounds, and two bigger speakers (4 inches each) that work like a mini subwoofer. These handle the lower sounds and bass. The soundbar can handle advanced sound processing, including Dolby Atmos. While it doesn't give you true surround sound, it does a good job of making the sound feel big as if it surrounds you. For connections, it has an HDMI port with eARC, which is the best way to connect it to your TV. It also has Bluetooth for wireless music streaming, USB connections for playing music directly from a drive, and an optical input for older TVs. You can also add more Klipsch surrounds or subs later to create a true surround sound system if you want. The soundbar has different sound modes to suit what you're watching or listening to. Movie Mode makes movies sound bigger and more exciting, and sets it to virtual surround sound. Music Mode is best for listening to music, making the sound more balanced and clear and setup for stereo. Dialog Mode helps make voices easier to hear, which is great for TV shows or movies with a lot of talking, or if you're having trouble hearing the dialogue (3 levels to increase sound). Night Mode keeps the sound quiet for late-night watching. *App The Klipsch connect plus app gives you the ability to customize your sound with equalizer presets such as Flat, Vocal, Bass, Treble, Rock, and custom. The app has great range and can even power your speaker on if you need to make adjustments or want to play some music. You can adjust channel levels across your surrounds and subs too. All of the settings mentioned previously are also hear such as dialogue, Music/Movie, and Dialog Mode. The app works as it should and offers just what you need *Performance I put the soundbar through a series of different movies and music. For movies, the sound is really good for a soundbar of this size. Action/adventure movies sound great. You can hear all the small details and the special effects really come to life. The virtual surround sound effect isn't as good as having real speakers all around you, but it does a great job as most soundbars in its class do. When playing music, the Flexus Core 100 sounds clear and balanced. I went through a variety of genres and the music was clear, detailed and energetic. The bass isn't as deep as you'd get with a separate subwoofer, but it's still pretty good for a single unit. I can only imagine what my living room would sound like with a subwoofer next to the Flexus Core. The equalizer on the Klipsch Connect Plus app helps you dial in the sound if you're looking for something more specific. For gaming, the Flexus Core 100 adds a little extra excitement. It definitely makes games much better than just using TV speakers, especially the cinematic adventure games. Overall, the Klipsch Flexus 100 2.1 soundbar really fills the room with a dynamic range of sound. *Pros* * Great sound for the size * Bass is the best I've heard in it's class without a sub * Expandable surrounds and subs * High quality build and design * Blends in well with most rooms * Speakers get loud * Remote Control (Backlit) * Wall Mount Brackets * Needs Improvement/Suggestions* * No DTS * Might need a sub in larger rooms * No Smart assistant capabilities The Flexus Core 100 delivers premium sound. I believe its main strengths are that it sounds great for its size, blends well in most rooms, is easy to set up, and offers good value for money. It's also nice that you can add more speakers later if you want to expand your system. The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 is a great choice for people with smaller living rooms who want better sound without taking up too much space. It's also good for those wanting a significant upgrade from their TV's built-in speakers without spending a fortune. Music and movie lovers on a budget who want good sound quality for both will appreciate it, as will gamers looking for better audio to enhance their gaming experience without the headphones. Klipsch delivered a big sound in a small package. Highly Recommended!

The Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 2.1 Soundbar is a compact 2.1 Virtualized Dolby Atmos soundbar with an attractive design and impressive build quality. At 10 lbs. it feels very solid in my hands. It utilizes 2 x 2.25’’ front aluminum cone drivers for the left and right channels and 2 x 4’’ top firing high-output paper cone drivers for the subwoofer. The soundbar features physical buttons along the top to control On/Off, Source, and Volume Up/Down. At the front of the soundbar is a large LED display. The soundbar measures about 28’’W x 3’’H x 5’’D. While being very compact in width, at about 3 inches tall, it can block the bottom view of the TV for setups using a short TV table stand. This wasn’t an issue for me as I am using this soundbar in a small room in my basement where the TV is wall mounted but it would have been an issue with my living room setup. I connected the Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 using the included HDMI cable to my TV’s HDMI eARC port. Then I downloaded the Klipsch Connect Plus app, powered on the soundbar and followed the prompts on the app. For me, the app quickly found and connected with the soundbar and I didn’t encounter any problems setting things up. You can use the app as a remote for the soundbar and it offers more control over the soundbar compared to the physical remote. For example, you get a 3-band equalizer which isn’t available when using the physical remote. I will probably prefer using the physical remote for quick settings as the app seems to take a little bit of time connecting to the soundbar and becoming responsive after it has been powered down. The Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 offers additional customization such as Dialog Boost (Off, Low, Med, and High), Sound Mode (Movie and Music), and Night Mode (Off, On) as well as the ability to set the Display Brightness. The digital display on the Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 produces large easy to read letters which I really appreciate. Many soundbars these days only produce coded dots for a display which makes it hard to know what is going on. You can expand the Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 as your needs grow with wireless rear surrounds (Flexus Surr 100), wireless subwoofer (Flexus Sub 100) or any wired active subwoofer. The ability to add any wired active subwoofer you have lying around is an outstanding feature that I wish more soundbars offered. Performance and User Experience The first thing you notice about the sound quality is the bass. It is very impressive for such a compact soundbar. For my small room setup, I honestly feel I might not need to add a discrete subwoofer. But it’s nice to know that you can add one if you want to. By itself, I think the Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 produces a nice balanced sound with crisp and very clear dialog and theater-like ambiance. In Movie mode, the soundstage produced seemed surprisingly wide. I was watching Star Trek Prodigy and the instruments from the background music seemed to be playing from my side and all around me. I was thinking, “Wow, that instrument actually sounds like it’s coming slightly above me on my right side”. Even with the Dialog Boost set to off, I thought the dialog was very clear. I experimented with the 3 different levels of Dialog Boost and I didn’t really hear much difference between them. In the end, I just left the Dialog Boost set to the highest level. I appreciate having a Night Mode (which was very effective) as I like to be a nice neighbor and this soundbar can get loud enough (according to specs 96.4dB) to disturb people. The Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 is also equally adept at playing music. Using Music mode and Bluetooth streaming, the sound was clear, rich, and balanced. Vocals and instruments came out clear and I thought the bass was punchy and not boomy. Summary Overall, I can recommend the Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 for anyone looking for a nice soundbar for a small to medium sized room. I think the price is very good compared to other comparable soundbars and I like the ability to expand the soundbar with subwoofers and rear surrounds as your needs grow. The Klipsch Flexus CORE 100 offers crisp clear dialog with impressive bass and produces a wide enveloping soundstage to give you a theater-like experience when watching movies and TV shows. And it’s also very good for listening to music using Bluetooth streaming.

The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 is one of the better soundbars I've experienced in this class, largely due to the surprisingly strong bass it features.  While it's not going to shake your room, it does pack enough punch to create a rich, dynamic sound. The overall sound quality is quite impressive.  It's loud enough to fill my bedroom, a decent sized space, with clear audio.  The soundbar does a good job of balancing all the levels to produce a clean sound, without putting too much emphasis in one particular area.  I would probably go for a bigger soundbar if this were going to be the main speaker for my living room, but for a bedroom, it's the perfect size. Setup is a breeze, I just plugged it in, attached it to my HDMI-Arc and it instantly connected and could be controlled by my T.V.s remote.  I had no issues connecting with the app, which offers a few additional settings beyond the remote.  The app has a built in EQ, which is handy if you are looking for a specific sound.  However, the presets with the remote are just as good as the apps EQ settings. I like that the speaker features a dialog setting, which enhances the mids to allow you to more easily hear voices.  For whatever reason, half the shows I watch with my wife now seem to be a whisper contest in a dimly lit settings - so this feature was immediately put to use.  There is also a "night mode" which will soften the bass, without you having to get out of your custom setting. Aesthetically, the soundbar is stylish, with a wood grain paneling on top that gives it a modern yet warm look. It’s a bit thicker than some other soundbars I’ve owned, but the included mounting brackets make this a non-issue. In fact, this is the first soundbar I’ve ever owned that included brackets right out of the box—a really nice touch that should be standard across the board. I've also noticed that the responsiveness of the volume is much faster on this soundbar than my other bars.  I have no idea why this is the case, but my wife even mentioned it to me. I also love the LED display on the front, it's really easy to read, and oftentimes I can't tell if my other soundbars are responding to my remote right away. Overall, I really like it a lot - I love the features of the remote, the included mounting brackets, the ease of setup, responsiveness of the controls and the overall look and design.  It's a simple bar, but it also meets all my needs.

You don’t need an entire sound system to obtain immersive sound from your media. The Klipsch – Flexus CORE 100 is a great soundbar for all your media. Whether you are watching a film, binging a favorite TV Show or simply rocking out to tunes, this sound bar will not disappoint. This is my review of the Klipsch – Flexus CORE 100 2.1 Soundbar. *TLDR at the bottom ========================= IN-THE-BOX/SETUP: Everything in the box is packed and labeled nicely to assist you with setup. You will get the soundbar, a backlit remote control, power cable, HDMI cable, mounting hardware, wall mount template, and a manual. Setup is easy and takes less than 10 minutes. Klipsch gives you options to choose from multiple connections. You can use the provided HDMI cable to connect to the HDMI eARC port on your TV. Alternatively, you can use a digital optical cable (not provided) to connect the soundbar to your TV. I went with the former. Once all the cables are connected, tweak some TV audio output settings and the soundbar should be ready to go! Bluetooth is another option one can use for audio. This setup is even easier. Hold down the Bluetooth button on the remote control to start pairing mode. Next, use a Bluetooth capable device to connect to the soundbar! Need help? The manual is extremely helpful if you get stuck on something. ========================= SOUND QUALITY (MOVIES, VIDEOS): One of the first things I did to put this soundbar to the test was watch a film. I decided to go with Blade Runner 2049. Out of the box, sound is great, the sound is balanced with mostly mids and highs sticking out the most. The lows are lacking slightly but a quarter of the way into the movie I did use some of the built-in features to enhance the soundstage. I enhanced dialog and set the sound mode to “Movie.” I also increased the bass as there is no subwoofer to bring out those immersive lows. All I can say is wow, turning these on did do wonders to the soundstage. Those who have seen Blade Runner 2049 know that this movie has a unique soundtrack. Bringing up the bass brought out those lows of some of the music in the film. Sounds like the rumbling of the spinner(car) was felt through the floor. The film felt more immersive after I turned on those features. I also watched some TV shows like the second season of Squid Game and I don’t have much to say there besides how much more intense this soundbar made the entire show feel. Overall, this is an excellent soundbar by itself for visual media! ========================= SOUND QUALITY (MUSIC): This may be a downside to some but the soundbar does not have Wi-Fi capabilities, as a result, Spotify Connect (audio Wi-Fi streaming) cannot be used. On the bright side, the soundbar does have Bluetooth. I listen to a variety of genres from Hip-Hop, Rock, Latin, EDM, and Pop. I will first say that the sound is a lot better hardwired than wireless but to the average person, this soundbar should still sound great! The instrumental parts of the music do stand out the most with the lows slightly lacking in music that aren’t bass heavy. In music where lows stand out like Hip-Hop and EDM, the soundbar does a great job with the thumping bass parts that makes your floor shake. I did find that after enabling “Music” mode, this brings out the instruments more and the vocals get quieter. Overall, music quality on this soundbar is solid and the average listener should be happy. ========================= FEATURES/OTHER NOTES: I have already covered some features that are included on this soundbar which can be accessed on the remote control. Additional features like an EQ can be accessed through the Klipsch Connect Plus app. The app is optional and the soundbar can be setup without it but there are other features available like adjusting the auto power function and firmware updates that are useful. If you are going to use the app, be sure to turn on Bluetooth and your location for the soundbar to be found. I likely won’t keep the app as I ran into too many bugs.(mostly connection issues) I am running the app on an Android device so mileage may vary. A lot of manufactures of soundbars don’t include a remote control and if they do, a good portion of the time, it is not backlit. Kudos to Klipsch for including both of these things! One item that I did not mention previously was the lack of surround sound with this soundbar.(there are only two channels) The soundbar is not at fault since all the sound is coming towards you in one direction but the best way to listen to your media, in my opinion, is with surround sound. Fortunately, Klipsch does have additional products that can easily integrate with the FLEXUS Core 100 soundbar. There are wireless subwoofers (Flexus SUB 100) and surround sound speakers (Flexus SURR 100) available which I might bite the bullet for to complete this sound system. ========================= CONCLUSION/TLDR: Overall, this is a solid soundbar. Out of the box, this sounds great. By using the remote controller or app you can take advantage of certain features like selecting a sound mode to enhance your listening experience. I found the app to be too buggy and will likely stick to the remote control for the time being. In terms of sound quality, movies, TV shows, etc. will sound great. The lack of lows is noticeable but the soundbar can easily integrate with a Klipsch subwoofer which will certainly enhance your listening experience. As for music, you will not be disappointed, music quality is solid with the instrumentals standing out the most. Overall, if you are looking for a solid soundbar to add to your TV, I wholeheartedly recommend you try this one. Need an upgrade later? This one easily integrates with other Klipsch products so you obtain the full sound system!

There is a reason why Klipsch has been selling speakers since 1946. The sound of a Klipsch speaker is life-like, often achieving a clarity and dynamism that can convince us, the listener, that THIS is what we would hear at the studio or concert venue. Even in this 28” wide, 3”high, 5” deep, 10lb soundbar, Klipsch has stayed loyal to the experience Klipsch owners expect to hear. It is simply fun to hear my sleek, impressive, high performance TV actually sound like it’s a special media center. I know, I know. Every TV manufacturer is confident they have finally cracked the code overcoming the limits of acoustic science and given their 1” thick plastic TV shells great sound. Close, but nope. You need to go listen to this Klipsch soundbar or bring it home. We’re so impressed with the immediate and significant improvement in sound. SETUP: The rear panel of the Kipsch Flexus 2.1 offers a couple of connection possibilities. The Klipsch has advanced eARC HDMI, which should connect to most TVs sold within the past 6 years and allow multichannel (stereo, uncompressed 7.1 channels up to Dolby Atmos with maximum audio bandwidth assuming the TV and its various Apps offer these technical capabilities. I was ready to listen after connecting my TV and this soundbar with an eARC capable HDMI cable. I remembered to go into my TV audio setting to switch from the TV speakers to the external audio system (in this case, the Klipsch soundbar). [It is important to note that not all TVs and/or not all Apps have eARC features or ports. TV’s somewhat older than 6 years may only deliver HDMI ARC features, with limited 5.1 channels of compressed audio. Some TVs added capabilities with software updates. Other older TVs might only have TOSLINK (optical/S/PDIF) ports with similar technical capabilities (but NOT the ability to control attached devices via CEC)] The Klipsch Flexus accommodates all 3 types of connection. You will get connected. The Klipsch Flexus 2.1 has added features which you may never use. It can add wireless surround channel speakers as well as one of two different wireless subwoofers designed for Klipsch soundbars. Especially nice if you already have a Klipsch (or other brand) wired subwoofer, there is a RCA subwoofer output right there on the rear connection panel. WooHoo! Turning the soundbar into a Bluetooth Speaker is also possible using the Bluetooth button to pair with a device like a phone or tablet. The remote controls many of these features. The Flexus 2.1 also includes an App (Klipsch Connect Plus) that replicates some remote control features, and also adds a 3 channel equalizer to fine tune the sound or manage the channels.
 
PERFORMANCE and SUMMARY: TV sound is immediately made more natural, voices become more intelligible, and the setting of a story becomes larger, more realistically creating the space the movie or TV characters are acting within. Obviously volume is a contributing factor when you’re playing back a big screen movie. And the Klipsch can get loud. But even at lower volumes, the clarity of the sound makes TV dialog so much easier to listen to for those who have hearing impairments or a noisey environment. For even more help, the remote control has specific buttons to boost the dialog through 4 levels. Further control is provided to contour the sound for movies or music. A Night Mode reduces deep bass so it doesn’t travel to nearby rooms. Although the bass level available from the Flexus soundbar alone is remarkable, I experimented by adding a subwoofer I own. The Klipsch Connect Plus App recognized my added subwoofer and changed the crossover it used! This is a special soundbar. It added a whole other level of low end for big movies and music. It was compelling, but subtracting it, and again listening to the Klipsch soundbar alone, I was reminded just how nice this soundbar sounds. With or without an added subwoofer, I think any end user will be thrilled with the sound. It’s nice to have the option to customize my purchase now or in the future. (OK, I kept the subwoofer attached, too.)

PACKAGING It comes in a nice cardboard box with a plastic carrying handle. Convenient, especially if you want to carry this thing around much. As far as simply getting it safely to my home, it was a bit more than necessary. Packaging included decorative foam inserts, unnecessarily durable disposable plastic cable straps, and foam plastic wrapping that maybe protected components from dust but mostly just needed to be removed and discarded. A nice printed user manual is included. Or at least it looks nice. Turns out it’s pretty much useless. It’s of the sort that it describes in careful detail what every button/feature does without actually giving any useful information. For example, a full page is devoted to the “Dialogue Mode” button on the remote, including lots of easy-to-understand graphics, which explains how many times you can press the button to turn Dialogue Mode on, off, or to low, medium, or high settings. But nowhere in the manual is there any information about what Dialogue Mode is, what it does, or when you would want to use it. AESTHETICS This is a really nice looking soundbar. The design is simple, visible wood on top looks nice. My only complaint is that the LED indicator on the front looks a little cheap when it comes on. Fortunately it can be set to turn off after a few seconds, at which time it disappears into the grille fabric. I particularly like the look of the logo on a metal tab in front of the grille fabric. APP You can download an app to get access to more settings. The “more settings” is a 5-band graphic equalizer. I think I would have rather had the EQ be accessible through the remote or on-unit buttons and be able to avoid the added complexity of an app. Additionally, my experience with the app was terrible. For some reason there was a frequent delay connecting from the app to the soundbar. Regularly, I’d have to wait like 10-30 seconds before any controls on the app would respond and I’d be able to do anything with it. CONNECTIONS/EXPANSION This is part of an expandable system, in which a subwoofer or surround channels can be added. I didn’t experiment with this, but I’d be inclined not to waste my money and start with a more capable system before adding to it. Sound input is via HDMI ARC, optical, or Bluetooth. No analog input, and no headphone output. One nice thing I saw is that it has an analog RCA subwoofer output which means you can connect virtually any powered subwoofer to it. Cool option if you want it. SOUND QUALITY I can’t expect stellar sound from anything in the “soundbar” category, but I honestly was expecting a lot more given the price point of this product. There’s a lot of small things that add up, but overall it just doesn’t provide any level of accuracy in sound reproduction or in building a passable soundstage. The sound has great presence, and surprising bass (at least at low volume settings) for the size. But the sound is kind of all over the place. I think it is best suited for smaller rooms, especially with symmetrical walls. But for larger spaces or at higher volume settings, it’s nowhere near as impressive. As advertised, this is a 2-channel system. Not even a center channel speaker (IMO the most important channel in any surround system). The Flexus Core 200 does offer this and more, if you’re looking for a step up. The 2 drivers are front-facing which limits the ability to create a discernible soundstage. What I mean is that sounds tend to be diffuse; you can’t really pick out if a sound is coming from the left or the right very well. The soundstage is decent if I sit directly in front of the bar between 2 feet and 6 feet away from it, but anywhere else in my room the sound was just everywhere with no precision. Even if I stood up from sitting in the sweet spot, I lost any sense of stereo imaging. Most soundbars that attempt to do surround imaging will put speakers on the ends of the bar to throw it into the corners of the room, which would help, but with the drivers on front there’s not much. The bass drivers face upward on this. No complaints about the positioning, and they sound really good at lower volume settings. But as I increase the volume, the electronics seem to cut back on the bass, possibly so it doesn’t distort. So when the overall volume is quiet it sounds really good, but if I want fuller louder sound I can’t get it. There’s no “flat” or unmodified sound setting. Choices are limited to “Music” or “Movie” and I’m not sure what the difference is except that my music sounded much better on the “Movie” setting. Either way, it tries to generate some kind of surround sound effect which, to my ear, gets in the way of accurate listening and enjoying of any source material. There’s a lot of processing to color the sound (maybe make it more authentic American?), including I’m guessing compression that gets rid of a lot of the dynamic range. This is maybe something you’d want for casual background listening, but it kind of destroys the fidelity of a lot of source material. Changing volume settings caused audible glitches in the sound output. Like the digital signal processor had to recalibrate and restart its decoding every time the volume setting changed. Very slight, but noticable. Overall, I guess that this would perform well for casual background sound in a room with other things going on. The characteristics of this sound could be really nice for everyday TV watching too, in a small room at lower volume levels where accuracy is not important. But ther performance is underwhelming for careful listening or being immersed in an A/V experience.

Sounds amazing. Has 2 built in subs that impress. The fact you can add any sub you like with the sub out is season on a soundbar. Most don't even have that feature. Louder than i expected and the app is an improvement from before. Sounds great tho i think tweeters would've been nice. klipsch old soundbars had tweeters. Get it on sale if you can.

Very good sounding soundbar. It has good bass for its size, the vocals are clear, and I like the night feature which reduces bass (I live in an apartment so this feature is valuable). It’s expandable so you can add surround speakers and subwoofer if you like. I wish it had virtual surround, and Dolby Atmos.

Always been impressed with Klipsh and this soundbar produces. Nice sound all around. Very solid bass which was a nice surprise. Perfect for smaller rooms and apartments. Highly recommend

Great for many uses. Im curranty listening to a cd. Dire Straights Brothers in Arms. Clarity and depth. The bar alone sounds great. Added sub for greater depth.

Klipsch 100, great bass at low vol. Easy set up.Bought the Bose 550 smart soundbar, bass comes in at a higher vol.I sent it back. Give a listen to the Klipsch 100 or 200 I think that you will be very surprise. The Klipsch 200 is longer than my TV.So I stayed with the 100. Very glad I bought the Klipsch

Klipsch Flexus Core 100 When I first got my hands on the Klipsch Flexus Core 100, I was excited to use this sound bar. After a couple of days using it in my house, here’s my experience with it: First Impressions and Design The soundbar itself is compact and modern-looking, fitting in seamlessly with my minimalistic living room setup. The soundbar has some weight to it (heavy for its size). Its black grille and metallic finish feel sturdy and durable without being flashy. I appreciated how the touch controls on top were both subtle and functional, but I primarily used it connected to my TV. Setting It Up Installation was straightforward. I connected it to my TV via HDMI ARC, and it synced up almost immediately. Also I connect my phone to the speaker via Bluetooth which worked flawlessly with my phone. Sound Quality The sound is where the Flexus Core 100 really shows its worth. Watching movies was a completely different experience compared to using my TV’s built-in speakers. Thanks to the deep bass from the built-in subwoofer. TV speakers you just hear the sound with this soundbar you feel it. When it came to music, the soundbar handled most genres well. Acoustic tracks sounded natural and balanced. For not having a subwoofer you still can feel the bass. Day-to-Day Use The touch-sensitive mute and volume controls were nice to have, but I found myself relying more on the remote for quick adjustments. Switching between audio sources was hassle-free. I used it both for casual TV watching and phone. It just works and works well. What I Liked • Sound Quality: Clear highs and solid lows, with an overall immersive experience. • Build: Sleek, minimal, and fits well in smaller spaces. • Ease of Use: Simple setup and straightforward controls. What I Didn’t Like • No Wi-Fi or advanced streaming options like Chromecast. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a soundbar that’s easy to use, provides great sound, and doesn’t demand much technical knowledge, this is a good option. However, if advanced features like Wi-Fi streaming or support for multiple audio formats are deal-breakers, you might want to explore other options. Definitely would recommend the Klipsch Flexus Core 100 soundbar.

The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 is a great little soundbar that is easy to set up and has great performance. First off, it comes packed very nicely with all components very clearly marked. It even includes all hardware to mount the soundbar to the wall if you prefer. I opted to just place it on the stand in front of my TV, but it's nice to have the option and not have to buy any extra hardware if I ever want to wall mount it. Setup was a breeze. I simply plugged the HDMI into the ARC HDMI port on my TV and my TV instantly recognized that I plugged in a soundbar and switched audio output to that. I can control the volume with my regular TV remote, and the soundbar will even automatically turn on and off with the TV. Of course, I believe these features may vary depending on your TV. Sound quality really surprised me. For such a small soundbar, it has amazing sound. There's a surprising amount of bass considering there's no external subwoofer, although you can add one if you prefer. The soundbar also features bluetooth and usb connections as well, if you'd like to connect your phone or other usb device to play music. This worked pretty well, and while I won't be using it that often, it's nice to have the option for those that do see themselves using it. I should point out though, that as far as HDMI inputs, there aren't any. You just get the connection to the TV and that's it. So if you plan on using the soundbar as a switcher or receiver, look elsewhere. You'll need to plug external devices into the TV directly and then use the ARC to play audio through the soundbar. Overall I am very satisfied with this soundbar. Setup was simple, and performance was top notch. It even provides potential for growth, as you can add surround speakers and/or a subwoofer if you ever want to down the line. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a soundbar.

So I just received my Klipsch Flexus Core 100 2.1 soundbar about a week ago and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Recently we tried another top named brand soundbar and while it works, it does not work as good, or even as close as to what this new Klipsch Flexus Core 100 does. And the thing is, is the other top name brand cost almost twice as much as this Klipsch. Now I’ve never used anything Klipsch related before this soundbar and I’m so glad I switched over. This thing rocks and it just works. Included in the package is the following: * Klipsch Flexus Core 100 2.1 Soundbar * HDMI Cable * Power Adapter * Full Sized Remote * Wall Mounting Brackets & Hardware * User Documentation Before you get started it’s recommended to download the companion app from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. Once you have downloaded and installed the app, simply follow along with the app and you will be up and running in no time. The app allows you to update the firmware if needed as well as tweaking the setup to your liking. On top of the Flexus 100 is 4 touch sensitive buttons: On/Off (Power Button), Source Button, Volume + Button, and Volume - Button. The app also doubles as a virtual remote. The back of the soundbar features all of the ports needed to get you up and running such as the HDMI port, an Optical port, etc. Although the Flexus is not feature WiFI, it does allow you to connect via Digital or Bluetooth. On the front of the soundbar is a display that lights up (and can be dimmed if needed) when you change the volume up or down. One of the great features of this soundbar is the ability to add additional speakers as well as a subwoofer to this setup which we plan on doing in the future. But as a standalone soundbar, you will be amazed at how beautiful the Klipsch Flexus Core 100 sounds. I mean it blew away the other top named brand soundbar we recently tried. The full-sized remote also features all the quick access buttons you may need to make quick changes. For amazing sound quality with or without the added bass, I 100% recommend this soundbar, especially for the price, you can’t go wrong with a Klipsch.

Is is a great bit of sound kit and finally a soundbar that can help replace my old wired 5.1 Sound system. You definitely will want to make sure your TV has an HDMI eArc connector for the best sound, but at least an ARC, to ensure the best possible sound from your movies, esp the ones with Dolby Atmos. You can also mount this to the wall which I assume will give you better sound being more free floating then sitting on the TV stand, however I have mine on the stand and to be honest Klipsch engineered it with people like me as the Subs are pointing up from what I see so you get the feel in the room. You can either use the remote included or there application for your phone to EQ/Remote control the device and pair. You don't need anything fancy if you just want 2.1 sound, and I find the dialog boosting function to work well, I could actually hear it in the Chris Nolan movies I tested, which is awesome. The main advantage to this system is you can add a proper Subwoofer and two Wireless speakers to this. I like the ability at a later time to add the wireless speakers and not have to run wires throughout the living room, just make sure they are in a place with Power. I think is the great and well thought out by Klipsch and they are using Onyoko for the electronics and that combo created a very solid and well sounding soundbar that I am happy with and will most likely expand in the coming year to include the wireless speakers for true surround sound.

Perfect attachment to my 55" LG. Love the form factor and love the sound without a subwoofer. This thing has great bass!!! Download the Klipsch connect APP and you can make her have as much bass/treble and vocals!!!
