    Klipsch Flexus Core 100 Soundbar

I would give this soundbar 5 stars, but I had difficulty trying to program my Verizon FIOS remote to work with it. I found out that it had something to do with only Bluetooth working between remotes and the soundbar. Verizon uses an infrared signal. I finally did get it to work, quite by accident. I'm not even sure how, but I definitely could not have my FIOS settings use Klipsch for audio. Meanwhile, all else works great. Bass is strong, and for bedroom use, I will avoid adding an expensive sub-woofer. The sound is very good and is better than my Sony TV speakers. Dialogue, especially using the enhancement settings, is very clear. I can't say that the virtual surround sound is spectacular, but again, for a bedroom, it is acceptable. You can control the soundbar with the supplied remote or via the Klipsch app, both fairly versatile. Playing music (using Music mode) on this soundbar produces a great sound. Overall, I am quite satisfied. Setup was easy, by the way. Glad I waited for a sale to make the purchase.

    Excellent Electronics for Smaller Spaces

The partnership between Onkyo and Klipsch for the Flexus CORE series has been a great one on every front, but for those living in smaller spaces (dorm room, 1/2 BR apartments,) the 200 series is simply overkill that would need to spend most of it's time in Night Mode. Fortunately, the 100 series delivers clear, driving sound for smaller spaces and TV sets. I've chosen to connect mine via digital optical and for my 300 sq ft living room, I get great bass and high end without the need for a subwoofer. I've had some sync issues with games, but troubleshooting has indicated my set to be the problem, not the sound bar. As a kicker, I've already had one neighbor complain about the volume, only to hear a week later that he bought the 200 after coming in and seeing my setup.

I’ve opened several Klipsch speakers over the years but have never purchased one of their soundbars. My mother-in-law needed one and after cycling through the displays at BestBuy we bought this one. She couldn’t be happier and neither could I. The price was competing and the sound is superb. This unit doesn’t have a separate base cube but it still sounds amazing.

This is a great jumping off point into the world of Klipsch. The soundbar is great. It's amazing what Klipsch was able to do with only 100 watts of power and relatively small drivers. I personally decided to add the corresponding subwoofer and rear surround sound speakers. The complete Klipsch system is easily the best sounding equipment for under $1000. Frankly I like it more than the $2000 Bose system I have in my living room, although the Bose system looks better and has a more detailed sound signature. Klipsch did make some cost cutting choices such as faux wood cabinets that look a little cheap and using paper woofers instead of their legendary spun copper woofers, but overall this is a high quality soundbar. Highly recommended.

The sound bar lives up to its name. I got it for $279. It’s perfect for a small room. I would say the base is a little harder to hear if you have it mounted versus sitting on a TV stand. I love the high-quality feel of it and the easy mounting instructions.I highly recommend. You can’t beat Klipsch quality

Flexus Core 100 a Very Good Value

First off let me say that I do consider myself an audiophile, Although I am not super finicky with my audio, I do prefer hearing the finer details of my cinema or music audio. You will always find me fine tuning with the sound. My listening is almost 50 Music + 50 Cinema. Which finding a dual setup is difficult, as listening to music requires a Stereo 2 speaker setup. While Cinema listening requires 2-5 speaker setups. This is why in general soundbars are awful for listening to music. With that out of the way, I have to say that this little speaker is VERY impressive in it's output. In our small living room are the lows (without a sub) are very good and fill the space nicely. Voice separation is good when listening to in music or Movie mode (for TV). The only thing missing is the highs seem a little thin. This is because the Flexus 100 does not have a dedicated tweeter, but rather 2 Mids (front firing) and 2 Woofers (top firing). This leads me to the biggest shortcoming of the Flexus system, whihc is it's EQ ability. While the app does give you EQ Presets and Custom functionality, it's very limited to 3 bands of audio (Low, Mids, Treble). And while I do appreciate the fact that there is some customizability to the system, it would be much better if they had at least a 8 or 10 band EQ function available. I think if I had more EQ ability, I might be able to get a little fuller overall sound out of it. Overall I am very happy with the Flexus Core 100 and would recommend it to anyone who might be tight on space looking for a great sounding audio.

This is a great sounding unit! I highly recommend this for the money. You dont even need a sub but could easily add one just like that because it links up easily.

kind of purchases on a whim when we bought new TV, hadn’t heard of this brand but sounded best among the display models and without doubt, one of best tech purchases i’ve ever made! sound is crisp and bass is plenty for our apt and no need to alternate volume to raise during dialogue and lower during action - balances that out well without intervention

I picked this up to use for PC gaming + occasional TV. Coming from a JBL Bar 500, I was shocked at the bang for the buck you get with this soundbar. Dialog is nice and clear while not too overwhelming the majority of the time.. there is a nice cohesion to the sound where some other bars either overwhelm the dialog with the soundtrack or vice versa. That said, occasionally dialog can sound a tad recessed on some content such as video games or older shows that were mixed for TV. I enjoyed the Flexus 100 sound signature so much that I stepped up to the Flexus 200 due to the desire for a dedicated center speaker, Atmos up firing speakers and the 200 appears to have higher voltage on the sub out so I ended up getting even more bass from my wired Klipsch sub. Nice work Klipsch!

This soundbar has surpassed my expectations! I didnt doubt Klipsch when it comes to quality but for the price this thing sounds like it should cost a few hundred more. It sounds extremely crystal clear even at high volumes without any distortion. The bass is very tight as well, you might want to add the surrounds and subwoofer if you do however want to fill out a large living room but for me in my gaming room its perfect and the fact its only i think like 28 inches long fits perfectly under my 32 inch QDOLED monitor

I have the core 100 hooked up to my 48" LG B4 and it complements it really well. The sound is crisp and clear and the low end performance of the built in subwoofer is surprisingly really well considering how small the sound bar is. For a small bedroom it is wonderful, although for the price the fact it is missing a center channel is a little disappointing but other than that it is really good. I like the ability to add a subwoofer and satellite speakers and I am glad of it's versatility when it comes to expanding my sound system.

A top tier sound bar from Klipsch just as expected. The highs and midrange are resilient, crisp and clear with the sound bar filling my basement with sound with ease. The bass needed to be boosted so if you are looking for added bass power you may want to add the optional sub woofer.

I bought this because I needed to replace the outdated sound bar. I also like it because I an add more bass to the sound. I just wish the Geek Squad guy had not paired it with the TV's volume.

I love the brand, it is looks and sounds great. However, if you really want movie quality, you'll need a subwoofer to go along with it. Regardless, I am pleased with what I paid, how it sounds, and how it looks. The dialogue is much easier to hear. Action scenes sound much more realistic (engines, earthquakes, monsters, etc.). I am happy to recommend this for people who are more price-sensitive.
