I hooked these up to a 10 year old Sony 7.1 receiver, set the receiver up for 5.1 and was very disappointed in the audio quality of these speakers, in particular the center channel speaker. The sound was very muddy with no high end. I tried every setting on the receiver and the voices out of the middle sounded terrible, switching to 2 channel helped a bit as it avoided the center channel, but what’s the point of a 5.1 system if you can only use it in 2 channels. I returned them and will spend a bit more to get a better system.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you have had a poor experience with this system! Please make sure you are connecting these speakers to a receiver/amplifier that supplies 75-100 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms. This will ensure quality audio reproduction and longevity of the speaker's components.

Don’t waste your money

The sound is not crisp at all. I have a Bose surround sound system that is 8 years old and still sounds better than this system.

The instruction booklet is absolutely abhorrent. It provides nothing and the book tells nothing. So freaking expensive and you don't even get everything is supposed to have.
