dissapointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, there is no off button. Speakers gets very hot when left on. Will it last 9 years without a off button? I had the 55 rms power one for 9 years, then last month the woofer blew. So I buy the 100 rms powered one this time. It sounds the same if you ask me. I might return this one and get the 55 rms powered one. The only difference is the $50 price tag, if the sound is supposed to be different...I can't tell. That's why they don't put the two for you to compare at the store, because everyone would buy the $99 dollar one. The left speaker is also louder than the right one. I had to push back the left one and pull out the right one to get a balance.

Very Satisfied
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clarity seems fine to me, doesn't take much on the knobs at all really. And if you do crank it, well, I shook stuff off a shelf today, couldn't have ben happier. :)

Probably the best 2.1 system under $200
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It turned my games into a literal battlefield, so loud, clear and bassy. Having said that, not having an off button with a green light constantly on was annoying. Also, mine stopped working fully after about 2 years of having them. I looked online and it's a common problem, the fuses go out on the central motherboard of the bass. You got to get the correct fuse, open it up, and replace. Sometimes it will fix it. I bought some Logitech 2.1s for my PC when my Klipsch broke. I'd still recommend the Klipsch though, as it was wonderful when it worked.

Splurge and don't mess with the rest...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....if you care about sound/build quality and value, these are pretty much the only way to go. The quality of Logi's and is way down and the price of Bosey's is outrageous for their slick looking overrated clutter. Trust me, you'll thank yourself for ponying up the paltry 30% premium over the high end Logi's because they are put to bed in shame by Klipsch. These look exactly the same as I remember them looking more than a decade ago when Klipsch first started making computer speakers and that's because they got them pretty much right in the beginning. I haven't tried the new Bluetooth feature yet but it's a welcome addition and a big savings not having to buy a separate one if you want stream from a phone or what have you. The only complaint from me is the metal feet. While sturdy and high quality, they don't have pads so they will slide around. Be prepared to stick on some rubber pads if you want them planted or are worried about marring a delicate surface like a wood desk. After that, perfection!

It is actually better than what they say it is
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, it is actually better than the excellent ratings and reviews say it is. It's that good. Computer speakers are lacking and Klipsch is the only one that I will buy for the price. Be sure to adjust the volume levels on the source like youtube, pc volume and speaker volume and give it some time for the break in period.

Klipsch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's good for small rooms and gets loud but a little distorted @ high volumes. Subwoofer doesn't really have that punch it should have. I mainly use with bluetooth for music since like 2017

Loving it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best sounding computer speakers that I have ever heard! Clear, accurate and very well made. My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner. Great work Klipsch and thank you.

No Bluetooth off equals no good for office use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the speakers themselves are great. Awesome acoustics with adjustability for subwoofer bass levels. It can feel very immersive, even as a 2.1 system. I would have loved to use them in the office but as other reviews and Q/A forums will confirm, the Bluetooth is easily jacked. Anyone within a decent range will automatically connect to the system, even if your using the 3.5 mm cord. It “prioritizes” the BT connection and with no BT off option to the speaker, it’s useless when your in a office setting with multiple floors. You’re better off getting the same ProMedia w/out BT and use the money saved to buy a BT receiver from Logitech if you really want BT connectivity. Also, if you plug in headphones into the speakers, the sound is muddled and muted.

There's better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 for quite a while. They were impressive initially next to the garbage that was offered but now there's better speakers. I fell into the marketing of THX and reviews. When I first bought them, I thought they sounded shouty compared to my Infinity speakers I've had, from the cheap bookshelves to the expensive towers. BUT these were computer speakers and nothing else except Bose was in the upper quality range so while not perfect, they would do. The speaker quality Klipsch is known for, or complained about, is being bright or with excessive treble. With these, it's not really treble but excessive upper midrange and lack of lower midrange. They just sound shouty or irritating after listening for a long time, but they were computer speakers. I've been using these Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker recently on my bedroom television. The sound was wearing on me and the subwoofer was going out like so many have, so I thought about buying the Yamaha NS-SP1800BL. For a home theater speaker system with an 8" powered subwoofer, they were cheaper than the Promedia 2.1 which was really surprising. I had an old home theater receiver to use with them so I tried them. Surprising these Yamaha speakers sounded awesome and had none of the irritating shoutiness of the Klipsch or other anomalies in the sound quality. Just surprised that many feel these Klipsch sound great when fair is about the best I would say. Plus the common reliability issues other than Subwoofer going out, were the control pods going out. I had to replace it once already. I would not recommend this set today, there is better.

Great sound, but had issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these due to being Klipsch. The sound was good. I had issues with the 3.5 mm plug not working on any device I plugged it in to. Only the right speaker would work. I also had issues getting my Amazon Dot to connect. Other devices connected fine. Disappointed no power off button. Just was disappointed I had issues.

Sounded great but dead on day 30
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these on Jan 27th. Set them up and they sounded great in my office. A lot clearer than all the other speaker options at Best Buy and had the best bass. Fast forward to today, Feb 27th and the little white light that's supposed to glow on the control speaker isn't glowing anymore. No power to my speakers. Tried everything but no go. Filed a claim with Klipsch. I really hope they send me a new one and not have me send in mine and get back a nice brand new already broken and fixed speaker system. Had a Logitech Z500 system I bought back i 2003 that still works perfectly fine today. Not one issue in 14 years. When working, I'd give them 4-5 stars...but as its dead right now I can only give it 1 star.

Great sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound great through Bluetooth but are absolute trash plugged into my custom built $2,000 computer. Most frustrating thing is when nothing is paired to them there's a constant fm radio station playing through them and nothing I can do about it except unplug them when I'm done using them.

Simply Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers are just outstanding for their price. From lows to highs you get superb sound and bass. I was wanting a soundbar and was disappointed with many of the models from $150-200, so I decided to get these instead and these blow those soundbars away in quality!

Awesome but....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound amazing, great bass, clear, loud sound, I want to love them but.. THEY'RE NOT SHIELDED!! What a terrible cost cutting move. I have $30 speakers that are sheilded. I'm horribly disappointed. They're probably the best speakers I've owned too

Good sound, but I hate sharing.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers are amazing, however anyone can pair to the Bluetooth and there is no way of turning it off. Example I was in the middle of watching a movie, when all of the sudden my speakers started playing rap music. I checked all of my devices, and not one had Bluetooth turned on. I found out that it was my neighbors playing their music on my speakers. truly frustrating.
