Customers are saying

Customers praise the ProMedia 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System's exceptional sound quality, encompassing impressive bass and clear highs. The system's Bluetooth connectivity and ease of use are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects, along with its powerful volume output and good value for the price. However, some users point out the lack of a power switch and occasional heat generation as drawbacks. A small number of users also reported experiencing radio interference.

    Paper Weight

I purchased these from Best Buy in Winter Garden, FL approximately four months ago or so. When I originally hooked them up they were phenomenal! Today I go to listen to some computer content and the blue LED is lit and nothing is coming out. I can't connect to them via BT, and there is no sound hard wired from the jack. In essence they have become a huge over priced paperweight. Very disappointed with this product as I am a huge Klipsch fan with my home theater system being a large Klipsch 7.1.2 system. How can anyone still sell these with all the bad blogs describing this exact problem (which I only found out about while trying to "fix" my problem), and no solution. Very disappointed in Klipsch for putting out this faulty product, and for Best Buy for still selling it... Ugh!!!

    Bluetooth HEADACHE!

While the non-bluetooth version of this is a terrific product with outstanding reviews aplenty, the bluetooth version has a horrible flaw with security: There is no passcode to connect! This means that anybody near enough to see the signal can connect to the system via bluetooth and potentially blast horribly loud sound out of the system at any time it is on, leaving you with no option to do anything but turn the system off by unplugging it. There is no option to disable the bluetooth. When a device connects, it reconnects instantly, and the wired input is shut off! So if you live anywhere close to others who might see and potentially connect to your bluetooth signal, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Good speakers ruined by defective amp

It seems Klipsch still has issues with their amps. These speakers sounded great for about 90 days until the amp started shorting out. Now volume control is hit or miss. Sometimes all the way down does nothing, other times it just causes loud static bursts. Looking through online reviews it looks like this has been an issue since the 1st generation of this model.

    6 months and fail

This is my second set of these speakers. First set lasted roughly 2 years. This second set made it roughly 6 months and then failed. Klipsch is junk. They sound great when they work. The problem is relying on them working.

    NO ON/OFF switch!!!!!

How can you make a pc speaker set with no off on switch???? When it pairs on Bluetooth it always connects!!! My set is on the third floor and only used for my gaming rig. Incredible lack of common sense. All of my kids and I have used these 2.1’s for years. Now I have to package them back up and return. Very disappointed.

    Terrible design

Not speaking for audio quality the design of these are very bad because the Bluetooth allows for anyone to connect to them and there is no way to block them other than being constantly connected via Bluetooth therefore rendering the 3.5mm jack pointless and there is no on/off switch so anyone who is nearby while you are asleep could start blaring music on these making the only option to unplug them or turn the volume all the way down when you go to sleep. I am giving a one star review because this is a such a design flaw it's unacceptable and I am strongly considering returning them.

    Bluetooth is public, unsecure, unmanagebale

Bluetooth is public, unsecure, unmanageable. So if you're in an office apartment, or close housing, anyone can just pair with these speakers and you cannot use them anymore. I have a set at the office and one in my apartment. Both have been Bluetooth jacked and there is nothing I can do about it. I can no longer use these speakers. Klipsch has offered no solution. I just have $400 in speakers I cannot use.

    Bluetooth not reliable.

Bluetooth connectivity with speakers is FREQUENTLY broken. When this occurs, speakers have to be unplugged & replugged for bluetooth connectivity to be re-established. Also, there is an annoying noise coming from speakers when computer is turned on/off; i'm sure its an bluetooth related issue.
