I had some doubts when I dicided to buy it, but when I got home and started using it, all my doubts disappeared. Sound quality is owesome.

Just purchased the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system from Best Buy after reading reviews from many on-line sources. I have to say these don't disappoint. The sound is HUGE, great bass from the sub, crisp highs and great mid-range. I'm very much an audiophile and am very critical of speaker performance but these little gems are awesome.

I purchased this system after reading some other reviews on Bose product’s response and ended up with the Klipsch and glad I did.

I bought these speakers last week and have been using them for a week now on my desktop. It had been so long since I actually had base on my desktop that I forgot what it was like. These speakers kick some serious butt. You will get a full enriched sound with volume not even set at 25%. The recommnended sub-woofer setting is more the enough for almost anything. The price is high for a 2.1 set-up, but it is well worth it! Definately better then the sets by one company that sell for 299 and 399.

I purchased these about a year ago and loved them for about 11 months. The sound was impressive, the best "computer" speaker I have ever owned. During the last month, they have started to act up. Just like some of the other negative reviewes, the sound control or one side of the system seems to not work. I have checked all connections and computer settings, but the speakers act as if the controller is fried. The volume is different for each input. If I listen to music, the volume is around a 3. When I move over to working inside a program, the sound might be a 10/10. It can not be turned down at the speaker. Even if I set the sound on my computer at 1, the sound is too loud at the speaker. I now need new speakers and even with this negative review, I am seriously am considering buying another set of these. Why?....they did sound great when they worked. Best sound for $150.00 in my opinion. I just hope I get one of the GOOD pair this time.

Great speakers. I was reluctant to spend $140 for them, but they are really good, and I'd say worth the money.

Great sound for the money. Even caught them while they were on sale. (BONUS) Love them and they did not break the bank.

Great system, recommend to anyone! Fits very neatly on a desk and the sound is everything you would expect of Klipsch.

I upgraded to these from some Harmon/Kardon speakers, which would start to distort when I cranked up the volume. I like my music loud, and these do the trick. Very nice sound and good frequency response.

The Klipsch 2.1 system hands down is the Best sudio system I have come accoss. I was a bit leary about spending $250 for a set of 2.1 speakers. After doing my homework and research I decided to give these a try and WOW!!!! The bass response is totaly awesome and the highs are clear and crisp. Pleny of mids to suit my needs. I have had everything Logitech puts out to date and the Klipsch 2.1 beats them Hands Down!!!! These are a must have for any pc or laptop setup!

For a low end speaker system from an elite brand, it's awesome

I've had klipsch on my upstairs office.gaming computer for years. About 4 years in something burned out in them and they don't make the replacement anymore, I believe it was the "surround" control. They still crank however. When my son needed speakers for his college dorm to go with his new TV, watching movies, playing xbox, I steered him towards these. They rock his dorm. Klipsch doesn't disappoint! Great sound quality. No need to pay the name price of Bose. These are better.

The sound on these computer speakers are amazing. I have owned two pairs in the last few years. Only problem I see with these speakers is the volume control switch. Both sets that I have owned the volume switch has gone bad or malfunctions. This is a defect on Klipsch's part. I only hope they will resolved the issue. Until then I will not buy anymore of them.
