I got these to replace my Logitech speakers which were pretty decent in themselves. These Klipsch speakers blow the Logitechs away! Great stereo sound for web surfing, video games and music. They crank and the low end is awesome. I was amazed at how much "new" sound there was in a lot of video games I've been playing for years when listened to through these.

Unbelieveably loud! Movies sound amazing.. Tbh, the Bose computer speakers have a cleaner sound, but can't produce the lows this beast can. IMO, for optimal sound.. Don't over do the bass. As a matter of fact, I keep the bass knob on about 2 on a scale of 10 and sounds amazing!

The salesman suggested these speakers to me for my HP All-in-one computer. I decided to use them with my Samsung TV and was blown away. The sound is more than I expected, even at the lowest setting the sound is clear, and at the highest...well, you can't be in the same room. The bass is awesome. For the price, you can't go wrong!

I recently upgraded my sound card to a Creative Sound Blaster Zx sound card. The card does an excellent job of separating my audio from the interference generated by my motherboard and other equipment. However, the speakers I was using, the Bose Companion IIs just weren't up to the task of reproducing the higher grade audio signal. I saw the Klipsch on sale and decided it was time for an upgrade. This system is not the highest end audio experience out there. It's also not the most expensive. But from a cost/price perspective this was the clear winner in my books. It also has an mini-stereo input connector on the volume module which has proven to be a real plus for me. It allows me to leverage this speaker system as a mini hi-fi system for my portable music players. So, what did I get for the money. Each speaker has a midrange and a tweeter. The low end is sent to an 8 inch sub. The first thing I noticed is that the speakers play very loud. Each volume knob rotates about 300 degrees from 0 to max volume for both the sub and the satellite speakers. For my listening space I have the volume for both the satellites and the sub set to 10 degrees from 0. My volume on the pc is also set very low. For near field listening it is plenty loud and detailed. I've had Bose, Yamaha, Cambridge Soundworks, and Altec Lancing computer speakers over the years and the only system that has come close the Klipsch is the Cambridge Soundworks. And the Cambridge is almost 15 years old and still being used as a mini stereo system in my basement. The Klipsch are made of plastic. The Satellite cabinets do resonate. The louder they go the more they resonate. In all honestly I haven't noticed any appreciable detraction from my listening experience. My video games have nice, detailed highs and mids, and the explosions, gun shots, and foot falls of giant stompy mechs have that satisfying bom bom bom you would expect from a sub. Movies from Netflix and other streaming services sound decent as well. Don't expect 5.1 home theater quality sound but it's excellent 2.1 home computer theater. The other item I do like is that I can plug in external sources easily using a simple headphone stereo connector. I use my old Zune portable MP3 player simply because it has an HD receiver built in, a Pioneer Elite receiver that was collecting dust in the corner from my last home theater upgrade, and my tablet for those times when the built in speakers are not enough. Now, not everything is honey and cup cakes. Even through the grills come off of these speakers you'll want to keep them on. They are super ugly with the grills off. Second, there is no off switch. Not sure why something as simple and inexpensive as a power switch is such a no no feature these days but they are becoming a rarity in the computer speaker world. Take a look at that super expensive Bose speakers. You'll hear them humming all night drinking up electricity when nothing else is turned on. I plugged mine into a small Panamamax power strip so that I could isolate this as well as a few other components that require a physical disconnect from power when not in use. ie, it has a power switch. Finally, whatever you run through these speakers you will want to have some kind of DAC or equalizer function to process your music source. Otherwise these babies will make your audio experience sound very harsh. I ran into this when I first purchased the unit. I hooked an old CD player directly to the unit. The sound was terrible. I then ran the same CD on my computer desktop with the new sound card. The Creative Labs card has a 24-bit DAC. The difference was immediately noticeable. The same with my Pioneer Elite. The sound quality was night and day when compared to the direct sourced, unprocessed music. So, if you plan on hooking these up to a poor audio source without a DAC then you may not like these. My recommendation is bring a stereo cable with you to BB and try out your MP3 player, iPhone, or whatever portable device you, and try these out on the floor before making your purchasing decision. I did and am not regretting the decision. Outside of investing in a real hi-fi system for my computer these do the job just fine.

I originally bought some smaller speakers but returned them and paid the extra $$ to buy these. Boy did I make the right decision. The clarity of the sound of these speakers is amazing! The lows are accurate and never boomy. The vocals and highs are very good. These will easily meet the need for a main speaker system in a small house or large room. I often use them to wake my daughters who sleep in the room above my PC where these are connected. Ahh, the joys of dad-hood. I like LOUD music without distortion and these definitely work for me. I paid full price for these on a Friday, and they went on sale on Sunday. I took my receipt back to the store and Best Buy credited me the difference. That's great service!

Clear bass and nice clean sound, and volume you would never think possible on a computer. Decades ago I sold Klipsch speakers and such high quality of manufacture and of clean sound. This is is my second set. The first set lasted many years. Just accidentally broke the plug and could not find a fix. So bought a whole new set. Love 'em!

I was absolutely blown away the first time I turned this speaker on. I upgraded from a cheap JBL speaker and the sound clarity and punch this JBL packs was amazing. I actually have to turn the base down. I am currently replaying a few old games just to see what I missed out on (in terms of sound). Best money I ever spent!

I bought these looking for something small but loud for a bedroom and I'm very pleased. The sound is crisp and clean and has very good bass. I wish they had an off switch, and the led light is very bright (had to put a piece of tape over it). But those are very small issues and take nothing away from an amazing product.

This system has great sound for the price. It is very powerful, the sub is plenty strong and the sound quality is very good. The best part is the price. Don't second guess getting this system. It IS worth it!

Full bass, solid mid range, clear high end. Compares very favorably to a set of high end (expensive) Bose we have in the other room on a different PC. Frankly, I like the sound from these speakers better.

I had these in my wish list for a year or two and finally got them for Xmas this year. These speakers are incredible. I did not realize how bad my old speakers were. They make listening to music on my PC fun again. Easy to set up and use. They are bigger than I thought but fit on my desk and the music is crankin'.

THX certification indicates that you get superior sound quality and clarity, while the bass can definitely shake things up. You get both clear mid and high ranges as well as solid bass that you can adjust quickly and easily. The lack of a control pod is frustrating. Having the freedom to adjust sound without needing to reach the speakers would make this set near perfect.

Sounds equal to and a little better than my 13 year old 5.1 logitech pc speaker system which was still working great. But I wanted something to take up less space and after researching this fit the bill. Excellent sound and quality from a small system and was on sale for $119 great price no complaints.

My sister wanted these for her laptop, and I bought it for her right before she went back to school on New York. She was able to fit this compactly in her purse and uses it all the time when she hangs out with her friends. She loves the sound and tells me all the time how great a set of speakers this is.

The demo in the store sounded like fecal matter, one of the wires was broken, this was over powering the sub woofer. Fixed the wire and it sounded awesome. Bought it, set it up in my garage, it's supposed to be a shop stereo, now I can have a block party, wow this is nice. Try it out in store.

Scanning through the computer speakers I came across the demo set of these and couldn't believe how clear and bass-y they were. Looked up a couple reviews on my phone, saw nothing but good things, and decided to take them home. Easy to hook-up, and surprisingly clear sound even at high volumes.

Sound is incredible considering they are connected to my PC using Beats Audio. Bass is deep and the high are incredibly crisp. There is no on/off switch so they are always on. Took two days to break them in to really appreciate their sound. Since I am particular in how I am listening to music, I find these quite satisfying to the ear. If you are looking to blast your music though, these may not be the speakers you may want, when I turned them up 3/4, there was noticeable distortion in the subwoofer and satellite speakers. I used these speaker with the volume up just short of half way and they fill a large room with music nicely.

For the price, these are awesome speakers. Good, clear sound with plenty of bass. I recommend using as an upgrade to computer speakers or for adding to a medium size room for music. You can plug this into your phone, tablet, computer, or mp3 player or purchase a Bluetooth adapter for wireless.
