Tweak them 1st in the audio manager
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was a bit let down because I did not adjust it to my likings in the compunter's audio manager. After fine tuning it this speaker is excellent. So crisp with nice treble and not excessive bass like so many of the newer computer speakers. Its like those old style Panasonic Platinum boombox sound- clear, clear highs and mids and so good for vocals. I grabbed this on a whim because of the reviews here and amazon and they are all correct. Bravo Klipsch.

Great Speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Bose companion 2 and was very underwhelmed. I took them back after one day. I am blown away with these speakers for the slight price difference. I was looking at possibly getting studio monitors for my music, but for the price these are amazing for that need. They work well even with my bass guitar. The final selling point when I was exchanging them, is the salesman in computers saw me pick these up and said great choice, then another walked up to the counter when I was paying the difference and let me know he had these, and loved them. A++

WOW what sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife has been bugging me for months to get new computer speakers since the JBL 4.1 system we have had for 8 years broke from our kids picking up and dropping and banging on them. The amount of sound that comes out of these is unbelievable. The sub control is a must, I have it set to not even 1/4 and it pounds, the highs and mids are very crisp and clear. I am a huge car stereo person so It makes me picky, but there is no picking about these speakers. I will say these are we better than the Bose companion 3 which my friend has. This is definitely a win win system.

These Klipsch Pro's Rock!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking to upgrade the Logitech setup for my IMAC. These Klipsch speakers really improved my listening experience. Way loud, too loud really, had to turn volume and subwoofer level way down to avoid rattling my teeth. Seriously tho, I am 100% pleased, very deep rich tone, base sounds awesome, 100 times better than the Logitech's I had. Setup was a breeze, 5 min max and I was hooked up and ready to rock. If your like me you had never heard of Klipsch before. I read the reviews on here and was impressed. Do your research first, then buy these Klipsch's. I doubt you will be disappointed. I would not seriously consider Bose, with Bose, you are buying a name, one that is overpriced and over rated. Read expert reviews and you will know what I'm talking about.

Cheapened compaired to same product 2 years ago.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Less than satisfactory product compared to same product 2 years ago. Do not waste your money on this substandard, re-engineered to cheapen the product, media speakers. The older product was great and then they had to ruin the name of Klipsch by this P.O.S. Never again

Tremendous bang for your hard earned buck.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased these speakers, although they were incredibly hard to find in my area. I can say without a doubt, this purchase was one of the best decisions I have made when attaining computer speakers. Dubstep, trance, techno, rock, pop, hip hop, all sound wonderful. While gaming, the sound quality enhances the gameplay to phenomenal levels. The bass is distinct, the sound quality is very fine for the price. Installation of the speakers themselves was very fast and simple. The speakers also have a headphone jack incase your do not want to disturb some neighbors with your new and enhanced setup. If your looking for a pair of 2 speakers and a sub for the price range of $100$-$200, then these are a top contender, if not the top. Don't wait to get yours!

Excellent PC speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently replaced my Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 speaker system with the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker system. Wow! Significant difference. Tight base, strong mids and clean highs. Excellent sound considering the price and size of the system. Now I actually enjoy listening to music on my computer. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is because the DIN plug needs to be improved. It's loose and can cause loud popping, crackling and buzzing when not connected properly. When it is properly connected the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 produces very good sound.

Quit looking----You just found it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll make this short. I've bought alot of stuff from Best Buy. This is no doubt my best purchase, and by far my least expensive. I use this mainly to listen to music on the net. Last week bought 20ft. 1/8in. extension to plug to preamp output to flat screen tv bought at Best Buy. Actual Specs from klipsch 200watt system. 30watts each to two satallites and 140watts to the sub. Responce 31hz. to 20,000hz. Thats right. Go to klipsch site and check the specs. Look,, for the money,,,,,,,,,,,YOU AINT GETTING BETTER THAN THIS.....Believe me because I wanted to buy the BOSE system till I heard the difference. Can't make up YOUR mind ???? Read the reviews.

Great sound out of a rather small package!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I look for a couple of things when comparing products I want to buy. First and foremost does it meet my needs. Secondly, recommendations from people I know and trust. Last, but not least, ratings. These speakers met, and exceeded my currents needs. A trusted friend has been encouraging me for over a year to purchase these. Over 350 5 star ratings is another reason I looked at these. I have done my research and after everything was considered, haven't really heard a bad thing about them that matters to me. Bottom line: These speakers are well worth $150. My friend has been using his for nearly 6 years now and I've listened to them countless times. His 6 year old ones sound just as good as my brand new ones. If these are in your price range, they should be your number one choice. You don't have to have the volume blasting in order to get any bass. The bass is plentiful at any volume. I usually try to find at least one negative about products in my review, even if it's a trivial one. So I guess this system could be... better looking... It's a decent looking system but nothing special, but then again... that doesn't really matter. Buy them and enjoy great sound for years!

Rock Your World
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stop fooling around with lesser trash and step up to how the big boys rock with these babys. Seriously this system is really powerful. The sub has to be dialed way back or it'll destroy you. Plenty of full spectrum powerful sound from this product. I had a pair of cyber acoustic speakers with their sub and thought they sounded pretty good. But these Klipsch blew me away. The sound fills my whole 2 bedroom apartment. Dooooo iiitt!! Buy them!!!

Unbelievable Speakers!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is another one of those "I never write reviews" but seriously I Never Ever write Reviews but had to on this one. I purchased the Bose Companion 5 a few weeks ago and thought they sounded ok but not $400 ok. After talking to one of the floor guys at BB and reading reviews I decide to purchase the Klipsch speakers. WOW! WOW! These speakers and Sub completely blow the $400 Bose out of the water. The sound is amazing and the Sub simply Rocks! You don't have to crank these speakers up to get what you want out of them. They Highs and Lows are simply remarkable for these speakers and price point. I would recommend these to anyone and everyone I know if asked and will do so if not asked too. :)

Great speakers for the computer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used Klipsch speakers for my home theater and have yet to find any brand to compare. When I wanted to upgrade my computer speaker system, I researched and finally bought the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 from Best Buy. I bought the system for $94.99 while they were on sale. I must say that this is the best sounding computer speaker system on the market. The bass is strong and powerful and the highs are brilliant. You simply can't go wrong with these speakers...especially for the price.

Best Speakers Out There
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a little background info. I was looking for better speakers for my PC in late 2004 and wanted something better than the two factory speakers that came with my computer, not too tough to beat. I wanted something that had reasonable sound quality and bass. These Klipsch speakers performed above and beyond anything I ever would have expected. The bass the subwoofer produces would shake throughout the floor of the dorm I was in at the time. As you can tell, I have had these for almost 8 years and the quality has not diminished. When I was looking for a new tv for my apartment a few months back I intentionally sought out a tv that had a headphone jack so I could use these speakers instead of buying a surround sound system. I believe these rival the $500+ Denon system that my parents have at their home. I can't even count how many times I have recommended these speakers to co-workers and friends. Dollar for dollar the best speakers you can buy and extremely versatile whether you are looking for sound for your computer or TV. I am amazed everyday with the quality of this product and if mine happen to fail at some point in the future I will buy the same as a replacement. I can't stress the quality and performance of these enough. If there's a choice, buy these. Oh, and to those saying there is no power off switch, it's true that you have to flip the power switch on the back of the sub to turn them off. I wouldn't consider that a draw-back, maybe a MINOR inconvenience at most.

THE Best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for speakers and don't purchase these you'll just be setting yourself up for disappointment with anything else. I bought these speakers almost a full year ago right on the spot not even looking for speakers. I just walked over and fooled around with a couple and was blown away. I'm glad I did because I wanted a set of speakers so I wasn't always using my monitors to play music. These honestly sound better than my M-Audio BX5a monitors. The sound is loud, crisp, and clear. The bass is out of this world. Priced great. You can't go wrong with these at all.

Worth every penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blows away Bose, Logitech and my neighbor's boom box. In fact, my neighbor two doors down asked to turn it down twice. He said he could feel the bass vibrating through the concrete floor! Powerful sub woofer and clear mid-range and treble. Safely turn it up w/o losing power or sound quality. The best speakers I've ever bought hands down.

Stunning sound quality and thumping bass
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the Klipsch speaker system while it was on sale a few months ago. At the time, I had a limited budget and was torn between getting a 2.1 set of Insignia speakers or Logitech for my desktop computer. My brother urged me to take it a step up when he saw my admiration for the Klipsch. Probably the best call I could have made. I listen to a wide variety of music. My favorite styles are rock and hip hop and I like it loud with a big kick on the bass. The subwoofer blew me away! Even with the dedicated bass dial turned halfway (Logitech and Insignia did not have the dedicated dial) it thumps. My words can't do it justice. In addition to a large collection of loud music, I wanted to stream Netflix, CinemaNow, and some other movies on the PC. It's made watching my tv shows and movies a real treat. I can't recommend it enough, whether or not it's on sale. I use it daily and it has quite possibly been the best investment in electronics I've ever made. And I mean that very seriously. One thing I will point out, however, and is the only real con in my opinion... it really is best to use with a PC. I tried hooking it up to a tv for movie night and it wasn't quite the same experience and there was a bit of static/other problems. Klipsch has some really nice home theater systems I would recommend instead if you need something for your tv. I note this in particular for larger rooms.

Buy these speakers, and you'll never regret it....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buy these speaker and you'll be completely satisfied. Everytime you listen to them, you'll remember the first day you bought them, and you'll say "wow I'm so glad I bought these!" They are extremely loud!!! And the quality is so good. I've had these since November and I use them daily. The bass is loud and clean, the mids are excellent, and the highs are cystal clear. When the sound mixes altogether, it'll be unbelievable! These are also THX Certified, which is pretty much the ultimate quality for speakers and trust me their is a difference. I also recommend that you shut them off properly using the power switch on the back of the sub, not a power strip to shut them off. Oh and one more thing, these definitly beat Bose Companions 2, 3, and 5. Bose has good quality, but they are not capable of all the low frequencies that a Klipsch system can produce. They aren't as loud either. And they cost so much. You pay so much for Bose thinking they're good, but ask yourself, are they even THX Certified? Klipsch is the best, period!
