Connected to a (now) 7.1 avr, this fills the bottom that was never there before. The room is smallish (12X14), so anything more would have been a waste. It will rattle the windows, as well as disturb the neighbors, but for normal volumes, it fills in and sounds natural. I have it balanced against a pair of Klipsch Heresy series II, set as "large" for fr l+R, and the bass is non-directional and accurate. If you won't use more, don't buy more!

I was replacing a 15" sub which had an amp go out with this sub. I think for the price, this is an excellent choice. I am using it for surround sound and it definitely has enough punch to shake the cabinets during the action scenes.

Got a great deal on this subwoofer so couldn't pass it up. I haven't installed yet in surround system but planning to do so in near future when I get all the components for my MENvironment setup.

This baby really puts out the sound - the volume goes up to 11 which is kinda funny since your eyeballs would be popping out at that level. A really good subwoofer makes quite a difference and paired with the their floor speakers, the house rocks! I bought the system to out do my noisy neighbors and after a couple of blasting music, I think they have gotten the gist.....but it reminded me how fun it is to listen to really really loud music!! LOL!!

This subwoofer sounds like a beast. The only thing you could do is purchase the 12 inch for more rumble

Was looking for a low price range stand alone sub to replace one from a box surround set. Pretty easy to set up and once set up correctly, sounds great. The room I'm listening in isn't too big and this sub fills it nicely.

I bought the Klipsch subwoofer on black friday, the best time to buy them because it is 50% off for the sub, 8" floorstanding, and the 5.2" bookshelf speakers. So far i am very satisfied.

Klipsch has provided a powerful sound with this subwoofer. It has lots of bass for any get-together.

This subwoofer was the final piece of my speaker setup. I'd been waiting for a price drop on this and pulled the trigger. The addition of this sub has added some much needed depth and deep-ness to my speaker setup. Just as the center speaker provides clearer spoken dialogue, the sub has given an atmosphere around scenes that have more low sub sound. It's worth checking out and would recommend you pick one up.

The Klipsch Subwoofer is excellent addition to my audio system!

Has a very good sound and you have great control over the base with the settings on the back.

Great Sub. Hits hard but still sounds great. Paired with a denon receiver and it works excellent.
