I was replacing an older Klipsch sub that went. At BB and I couldn't remember what size I had so the BB guy recommended the 10 inch based on my preferences. Fired it up and ..nah, not enough power. Seemed to struggle with a larger room. Returned it for the 12inch and..yes, im back to shaking the walls. I have an all Klipsch system and couldn't be happier.

This I a great sounding sub. The enclosure does make some port noise on low frequencies but most people won't have it loud enough to notice.

This is a quality subwoofer for the price. The process to set the subwoofer up and integrate with our entertainment room was very easy!!

I never knew what I was missing but I will never go back!

I got this speaker for my surround sound system to go with my new receiver. Great speaker. Has a knob in the back that allows to you adjust the max volume then you can fine tune the volume with the remote.

After looking at several products, doing some research, talking to some people and the sales rep at Best Buy I selected the Klipsch R-10SW. This speaker fits in the space I have and fits my decor. The bass response is full and free of distortion. If you crank the volume it will shake the house.

I gave this only 3 stars because of the price and the hertz rating at only 30hz. That is not low enough for a home theater. General public does not have this knowledge and will be fiddling with the dials on the back to try to make it deeper, and that won't do it. Jurassic Park hits below the 25hz rating in the scene with the water on the dash. You won't and can't feel the lower end bass as the T-Rex gets closer at a distance on, till it is outside the first Explorer. Also certain hip hop tunes won't hit low like they should also. If you find yourself constantly fiddling with the LFE dial, you bought the wrong sub as I did. The company with an S at the beginning and end has subs for this price below 25hz, heck even below 20hz for a hundred more. Midway also felt tinny sounding instead of the HARD, LOW bangs and thumps you expect with this price range. Like I said, I have had it for 3 years and regret not getting something more Movie and Game oriented for a theater type setup. If you catch this for half off on Black Friday, sure it will do most of what you want. If running a home theater setup and you appreciate the low end on a lot of new movies, do not purchase this.

This sub woofer has met all my expectations. Great deep bass sound for my 16x22 family room with surround sound at a reasonable price.

I bought a HD TV a while back and never set up my sound system. Finally hooked up my stereo to the TV, but it was missing the loud thumps and bangs in the movies. Bought this subwoofer and it really made a difference. It is reasonably priced and it will definitely enhance your viewing pleasure.

Works well, nice throaty full bodied bass with plenty of power to vomplement a satellite speaker to a full tower speaker.

Bought an Onkyo AV Receiver and come to find out I needed a Powered Sub. This was on sale at the time, display sounded good so brought it home and it blew away our old sub. Has adjustable gain, Phase of 0/180 and auto power, great features to match the rest of your system

The sound is great for its price. If you got a pair of it maybe your movie sound becomes a thunder sound in deed.

Bought this for the living room surround sound system to replace the old tired sub I had. I haven't tuned the gain past 1/3 yet because there isn't a need. If you live in an apartment, your neighbors will hate you because you'll be rattling their apartment too.

It is a bass speaker without a doubt. Could use better explanations of what the controls at the back of the speaker do.

Excellent base for music and movies. Tight, not boomy or thumpy. Typical Klipsch quality. Highly recommend.

I bought this on sale. It was 50% off. They do it a couple times a year. I have Klipsch surround sound speakers and a sub. I added this for an even more movie theater experience. Works great deep rumble picks up all the frequencies my Sony didn't.

This was the perfect subwoofer for us. We purchased this to replace a 15 year old 250w subwoofer. The tones were clear and defined, not muddie at all. This was a complement to the klipsch home theater system that we recently purchase. I would highly recommend.

Love listening to the sound of action movie get the feel of being in a real theatre

This sub has some bumpin bass. I barely have it turned up and sounds like Godzilla is coming through the room.

The sound has an excellent quality. We use it in our tv room and it like sitting in a movie theater.
