This sub has great response no matter where I put it in the room. Was on sale for 175 what a buy, boy did I score

I purchased this speaker a year ago and it has been a great bass subwoofer. I have even recommended and had others purchase as a result.

I purchased more than what I needed. I bought this speaker system for my office and do not like the fact my display cases rattle. Would recommend!

I never owned a klipsch product till I bought this subwoofer. All I have to say is, WOW! I am amazed!! They are number one in my book now.

This sub outputs bass that matches very well with my surround system. You can feel the the thump but it doesn't overpower the rest of the system.

This was recommended by an employee over Bose. We have other Klipsch speakers, so we knew the product would be great and it is!

This 10" subwoofer Tops the sound that my 6 1/2" subwoofer was producing. I bought two of these at a great price for my 5.2 Surround sound.

Plenty of bass for my great room and the whole house. Wife complains all the time when she’s not in the room watching her shows.

A little expensive but it is worth the extra cost. No hassle installation.

The sound range and bass levels are great. Easy to set up and very nice looking without the speaker covers. I highly recommend.

After getting this sub dialed in, this is just plain rocks. Movies, Games, Music, TV doesn't matter sounds awesome.

Great Sub for my smaller living room. Most of the time have to have it below midway to not over power the rest of my speakers

Steady firing rate,wife hates it whens she's sleeping and I'm watching a movie or listening to music... it just rocks...

So, I have been a long time Klipsch fan since my first set of Synergy KSF 8.5 floor speakers. Klipsch had been long known for their roots in MUSIC reproduction sound quality and accuracy. As they evolved, they blended the aspects of home theater very well, while retaining their original musical qualities. Fast forward to today, and for the first time, I am disappointed in a product I've purchased from them. Musical quality is non-existent. Maybe I'm just backward from popular opinion of what "good" means, but more or overly tuned is not always better. This was purchased to upgrade the sub in our main family room. It's not huge, but not small either. This should have fit the bill perfectly. The sub it replaced was a Polk PSW10. THAT sub is a fantastic gem that is very well rounded for general use (ie. home theater AND audio equally with minor compromise to both). Right out of the box, the Klipsch sub was boomy and fatiguing to listen to. I tried every type of music, different blu-rays, and just about every level, crossover point, setting between the sub and receiver I could think of. In all cases the sub continued to be boomy or lacked fullness when I could finally get the boom to an acceptable level. And yes, I do understand the concept and need for a break-in period, and understand what should happen to the sound during the process. The starting point for this sub isn't even remotely where I expect a well rounded sub to begin sound quality wise. Does it hit hard? Yes...and it will rattle windows. I can't argue that. However, it severely lacks the warmth, smoothness, and range I expect from Klipsch based on my past history and passion with their products. I expected at least 70% of the qualities I have with my RW-12D in my theater room, and essentially only has the boom and rumble. IF you have high quality floor speakers and need something to provide that pressurized, rumbling effect, a pair of these will work well for you. It may even work well if you need basic fill below 80Hz. This is why I rated it 2 stars and not 1, since it CAN fit a specific purpose. However, I cannot recommend this for an overall, general purpose sub. This is a sad, disappointing day to write my first review not recommending a Klipsch product. Sadly, it goes back tonight and will probably get another Polk PSW108, since I bumped the old one to my son and take backs are not a good dad move...
