Fantastic sub at a respectable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 of these subwoofers in my 5.1.2 system. It truly sounds amazing. I started out with one, but ended up adding a second one on the other side of the room. They both have ample power for music and/or movies. Bass is crisp, clean and it sounds great. Very "punchy" and "tight" bass.

Killer Bedroom Subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a killer Man-cave system so I bought a small woman cave bedroom system for my wife. Sub is paired with new Klipsch R-25C Center Speaker and Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers. I bought the smallest sub offered and it still rocks! I turned down the volume to only 10% and now the sub is perfect and musical. Bedroom is large (15' by 20') My wife bought 10 Blue-Ray movies she never watched, she has watched 3 already since I bought this Sub and system! This Sub rocks during "47 Ronin Blue Ray!" When I played it with the volume at 50% it almost blew the wall down and I was like OMG!!! Sub is small enough to hide behind entertainment system in the corner.

Nice but not what I was looking for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to best buy to upgrade my woofer. They did not have a wide array of subwoofers there. My choice was between a Sony 100w, polk 100w, or the klipsch 300 or 450w. In my opinion BIC and MartinLogan should be offered in store. Overall, the subwoofer is what I expected. It has a solid build that should last a few years. There isn't any humming or electrical sounds coming from the amp in standby mode (just saying because many sub amps do not hibernate when power is connected). Bass is consistent between high and low volumes. Excellent subwoofer for listening to music, but not so much for watching a movie.

Incredible value!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought mine off of Best Buy from eBay and saved quite a bit. However, even at full retail, this is an incredible value. I am using this sub in combination with my 65 inch Sony A1E OLED TV. While, the acoustic surface is a very good speaker, the 4 inch woofers were severely lacking. I considered a sound bar, but then would have missed the acoustic surface sound where the words seem to come from the speakers mouth! The Klipsch Reference 10 inch pairs perfectly with the TV. I set the audio out to subwoofer, set the subwoofer to LFE for frequency and gain at 0. The sound quality beats any sound bar I have heard! The bass on this sub is tight and not boomy. My current set up is an Apple TV4K with Dolby Vision —> Sony A1E —> Subwoofer connected to these Klipsch. The overall design and build quality is pretty good as well.

Can't Go Wrong
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Music nut from late '60s. This sub is all you'll need to make your music / home theater system take on the next level. Always sells out when on sale. Do you need to know why? No Takes on any size receiver. Have run it on 75, 95, 120 watts per channel high db, 8 ohms systems. Love the crossover controls to balance base between sub and satellites. Oh, Looks great too for a sub!

Best BANG for your buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 300 watt 10" Polk sub that just died after 6 years. I got this sub on sale for only $174.99 and I feel like I stole it from Best Buy! This sub is absolutely AMAZING! My old Polk sub had solid bass but this Klipsch simply blows it away! It has absolutely rock solid, DEEP, thunderous bass! You will NOT be disappointed if you buy this sub!

Exceptional Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptional sound, matched with all Polk Audio speakers. Huge, deep sound (booming sound without the "thumps" - sounds that make you want to turn the volume down). I keep it all the way up, adjusted slightly on the receiver, but the entire house shakes for both music and movies. Definitely recommend. I can expand on this if you'd like.

Excellent Klipsch Sub Woofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Replaced an older Proficient sub. The Klipsch is by far a better speaker system. I bought this for our family room surround sound system along with a Klipsch center channel speaker R-25C. Both have amazing sound.

Great subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my older Jvc surround in a box that was about 12 years old which sounded pretty decent for a beginners model. When I hooked this up along with Klipsch quintets I was pleasantly suprised with the bass. This has no problem filling the house with base.

I bought this open-boxed for $129 with tax
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had it for 2 days so far, replacing a 10 plus year old Yamaha Sub that was 80W max, very basic. I put in War of the Worlds on blu ray and so far this Sub is very impressive. The entire room is filled with bass and it really compliments the speaker set up I have, I now truly know what I've been missing and the results are fantastic. For the price I paid (it was $140 but I had $20 in reward certificates), this was an absolute steal. I look forward to using it more and really putting it through its paces but if you can snag it on sale its worth it.

Great for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both the 10 and the 12 and have to say overall the 10 is the way to go. I also had the supercube 2000 but it could not produce the lows at a volume I wanted...can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this.

Stands avove the competition
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll keep it short. I'm an audio engineer, and this is perfect for small to medium sized rooms. It has excellent response, tight and punchy. I have a custom built 12" running 500 watts that doesn't sound nearly as good.

unexpected gem

Amazing Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't pass up this deal on the open box. Has a small scratch in the corner but nothing I'm to concerned with. The bass it provides is amazing.

Rump Shaking Base
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replace my Polk Audio 10SW with this. The Polk was good but this SW is great. The base is TIGHT! It is in my basement Theatre Room and it shakes my 3800 Sq FT house. I have a 7 channel Denon receiver delivering 125RMS at .1% sensitivity per channel. I first set it up to compliment my Denon and room, it took about 1/2 hour. Set crossover at 28 to 120. TIGHT!!!
