my audio ensemble is almost complete, just need the klipsch center channel speaker, incredible audio that will "tick off " the neighbors, love it !

These are Best Buy exclusive from Klipsch. Once upon a time they might be called Reference I. Best Buy simply calls them Reference speakers. They are the follow-on to the Klipsch ICON which I believe are also the follow-on to Synergy. Like a bunch of folks here, bought these on Black Friday for half price. The horns sounded a little harsh in the store, but read some reviews here and for my Denon S900W receiver and took the plunge. With the Audyssey auto-setup on the Denon, these speakers are excellent. Highs are smooth, great mid range and even good base. They replace my Yamaha floor standing-rears that I moved to the family room. These copper wound 6.5-inch drivers have a great low freq capability. I have a 5.1 setup with these K-26F's in the back surrounds, K-28F's in front, K-25C for center, and my older Klipsch Synergy 10" 250w sub. Absolutely awesome with Blu-ray. And, when I set a stereo signal to DTS Neo 6 for FM or Internet Radio, they really put out some serious rock. These are NOT the same as ICONs because they incorporate the copper wound into the drivers. ICONs only have aluminum. They are not as good as KF-26 II's #which are Reference 2's# but they serve my purpose at half the cost. The K-26F’s don’t put out as much sound as the K-28F’s, but work great as rear surrounds #I personally don’t like book shelf speakers on stands#. If you have a small room, they will more than suit you for Front standing speakers in your setup. Don't buy these at $349. Wait until next Black Friday and take the plunge.

I love these speakers I replaced them with speakers that I had for 30 years.
