These are great speakers they have great sound the midrange is very smooth and the tweeter is not real bright,they rock

I was weighing whether it was worth it to get the next size up and ended going with the cheaper model, and that was definitely a satisfactory choice. I replaced some much older, but still quite good, speakers that had finally reached the end of their useful life with these, and the difference was stunning. I see absolutely no need to augment these with a subwoofer. My older speakers actually had larger woofers, but the bass coming out of these is incredible.

Amazing sound quality. I can find nothing to complain about with them. No distortion at any volume level, no popping, no feedback. They are awesome and totally worth the price.

I hooked up these speakers out of 26 with onkyo 777 reciever and sound is so amazing. Also got a 400 Watts subwoofer that keeps the neighbors awake. Amazing product 10/10

I bought a pair of these speakers on Black Friday. The price is for each one. Totally worth it. Now I need a Klipsch center channel speaker to complete my surround sound experience.

Bought these speakers to pair with my home theater and the sound is incredible. Was worried about not having a true bass but after setting these up I'm considering not getting a bass

These speakers are plenty loud for medium to small rooms. Clear bright and punchy with plenty of detail and no distortion even in the 90 decibel range. Great buy, puts other more expensive speakers to shame. Also have the R25C and R15M's as surrounds. I'm loving it! These just need a few hours of break in, don't know why some say 50 hours or loud volume, mine opened up nicely after a couple hours.

I really love these Klipsch R-26F speakers. Very musical with great vocals. I have these in my 7.1 surround system with other Klipsch speakers and I am very happy.

Very immersive sound when set at ear level. Sometimes it seems the sound was coming from above for certain scenes during Fate of the Furious. Highly recommend for music as well! Might be a little too big when using as rear speakers depending on room size and space. If in a smaller room I’d probably stick with the 14m model. Highly recommend these speakers!!

fills the whole house with great sounds, from highs to mids and low notes

I am very happy with these speakers. They get four stars only because the next step up Klipsch floor speakers sounded better in the store (but they cost more than my budget could handle). I am surprised (but thankful) that my neighbors haven't complained yet.

Purchased these to complete a 5.1 surround system for my basement. It's pure bliss blasting a movie on these speakers. Love Klipsch!

I am a big Klipsch fan and have owned the KG line 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 since the early 90's. When I saw these on sale for $175 each I thought they were the original Reference series but found out that was not the case after researching the line. The RP's are the true Reference series line. That said I ordered these and they are upgraded Icon's. I was a bit skeptical to replace my KG's with these but liked the form factor and they blended well with the BIC horn loaded speakers I use for the rears. I was also concerned these were not in the Magnolia section of the store as I think they would compete well against some of the other brands in there. Well after performing a listening test with some of my favorite material through an iPod, these speakers held their own against my KG 4.5. My KG's have a 10" woofer so I thought I would loose a lot of bass going to the dual 6.5 inch woofers but it wasn't really noticeable. When I first started listening to them they were harsh, but after playing them a few times they toned down and sounded like the classic Klipsch sound. Another great product by Klipsch I would recommend these as a "Best Buy" when they are on sale for anyone interested in serious sound on a budget.

I had two klh floor speakers before purchasing the klipsch tower speakers. As soon as I played music out of these I could immediately tell the difference. The quality and crispness is out standing. The range of treble and bass output is very good. I would consider this a beginner set up but as good of a beginner setup as it gets. Very happy

I bought this speakers about two months ago. I have set it up with the rest of my Klipsch home theatre speakers and they sound amazing.

The R26f tower speakers sound great and for a price that won't break your bank. I have a 20'X35' living room and these speakers fill it nicely. They also look as great as they sound. The Black color goes great with our Cherry finished furniture. I find the highs very smooth and not harsh like others have reported.

Replace my old polk towers with these. And boy can you tell the difference!

We live in a townhouse and these speakers are perfect for our space. Klipsch is definitely the best speaker around.

These Klipsch speakers have excellent sound. You can hear the guitar strings being stroke by the musician. The sound is very clear with no distortion even at high volumes. The bass in these speakers can shake your house or apartment. I recommend these speakers to anyone looking for good quality build and sounding speakers.
