Awesome sound

I originally got these for watching movies and they are awesome for that but I'm finding that I like to listen to new music with these speakers as I'm hearing sounds that I never heard before.

Great sound staging

Boy was I astounded by the low end notes they supported.No subwoofer needed matched with 145 watts plenty loud,bass -10 treble at 0 perfect addition to my home theater setup.

One of the best speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating between this klipsch r28f vs the polk, I went to bestbuy and test the sound on both of the speakers and there it is the sound of the klipsch was nice,clarity and deep bass. Don't get me wrong but the polk was also nice. And cheaper alot cheaper.

Great for Home Theater and music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always liked the sound of Klipsch speakers since I first heard/saw the huge Klipsch corner horn at Good Vibes Stereo in Champaign, IL in 1975 when I was a college student at the University of Illinois. Of course, those speakers were too big to fit in the dorm room plus I couldn't afford them. Flash forward many years and Klipsch has their reference series of speakers developed for home theater applications. The patented Klipsch horn tweeters really deliver the highs throughout the soundfield not only for theater applications, but are also great for serious music listening. Additionally, Klipsch speakers are very efficient. This means they will play loud with low power amplifiers. As a result, you don't get distortion from overdriven power amplifiers that can happen when using less efficient speakers and you crank the amp to get decent listening levels.
