Saw these in store and picked them up in the Black Friday ad. They will really churn out the sound! Awesome quality!

purchased (2) duel 8s, I didnt think 8 inch speakers would cut it, man was I wrong, these things sound awesome. Klipsch is top brand and they blow Bose away, I am slowly building a complete surround system, for now I use these and the bookshelf Klipsch on my vintage Marantz, these sound very good, plus their nice to look at.

I was in the market for some new speakers and I lucked up on the Black Friday Sale and was astonished at the price of the Klipsch speakers...I purchased 4 of the Dual 8 floor standing...did I say I love them?? I do love them! The best speakers I've ever purchased! I will be adding to my surround sound with more Klipsch. The sound is so great I have...Is till have the presets set!

Take it from a guy that has been listening to Klipsch speakers his whole life, these speakers are a great deal for the quality of sound they produce. I've owned models all the way back to the late 80s when my pop's gave me his pair. I currently own the R82 ll and went and purchased the R28fs to use for rear speaker's in a 7.2 channel set up, after listening to the R28fs I put them in the front, there by far better sounding speakers in all frequencies. I debated on the R28fs because I kept reading that the older model dual 8s were better sounding speakers, not true! The the R28f is a better sounding speaker, I wouldn't lie I payed almost double for the R82 ll.

I have done a ton of research for a home theater without spending too much. Klipsch was always one of the options. The strength and weakness of Klipsch is its horn, its aluminium tweeter. The strength is that it produces "as is" sound, which is crisp and bright. The weakness is that some people dont like bright high frequencies, and they prefer a more musical tone, eventhough it may not be a perfect reproduction. Klipsch tent to produce high tones with aluminium flavor, whereas high end speakers use silk dome tweeters which dont. But entry level siik polymer tweeters dont produce accurate sound. Another strength is the higher sensitivity, which means there would be less load on the amplifiers. I have compared the Reference series R-24f, R-26f and R-28f. R-26f is the middle one. This produces nice rich sound. One advantage is that it is not as bright as R-28f, which makes this the ideal choice for music listening. R-28f has a better dynamic response and fidelity, and is far better for movies. You may need to use Audio calibration to tone down the high frequency, but this blows all the similar priced speakers.

I've had kliposch speakers on my computer and was blown away 7 years ago I decided new home theater and klipsch. Got the package from best buy with the speakers and 10" sub. I decided to upgrade to these towers and have true 7.1 movies with these speakers bring it to life!! Sound is crisp and smacks you in face. Like the old picture of guy sitting in chair being pushed back! Now I need to upgrade the sub to a 15 :) klipsch here I come!!

These are the best i got for my money. Upgraded from my old Polk speakers, what a great difference. It was really an upgrade in terms of looks too. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought a pair of these for my home theater set-up and I love them. They are last years model but they still rock. I liked them so much I went ahead and finished out my 5.1 speakers with Klipsch. It's a great feature to be able to bi-wire and bi-amp with these.

I bought the Rf28 for for the start of my Home sound system. I bought an older Harmon Kardon reciever and the sound is amazing all around. These speakers sound great at any level. I listen to a lot of music and they really jam with excellent sound quality. Almost no fade or distortion. I promise u will not regret buying this set.

I bought these R 28 towers along with the 1 matching 400 w sub,,1 Rc 25 center,, and 4 of the R 15 bookshelf speakers along with the Denon 3100 from the Magnolia Section..These Klipsch are killer..Im going to add a 3 channel Emotiva amp to the receiver because I can...Lol...The house is a Rock'n..

These are some big towers. Great sound and some thump also. A really good product.

Don't think about these. Just buy them. Best purchase ever fraction of the price from other speakers and twice the value. Stop thinking about it just go get them now.

Have always heard people talking about Klipsch, now that I have them I believe it is a great product for the money. The highs are astounding.

I purchased these believing the quality behind the name brand of Klipsch... They have sounded clear and deep for a year until one speaker has started this horrible rattling. This one speaker has now made the entire set useless! The rattle is unbearable! For the high price of these speakers I would expect longer lasting speakers. Now I’m left with two choices: ship off one speaker with the chances of it getting damaged during shipping and returning a complete piece of junk or buying a replacement speaker for several hundred dollars... I’m unbelievably ticked off! So much for higher quality along with name brands!!!!

Over rated speakers for the money. They are alright but I prefer cerwin vegas everyday over these. Im returning mine tomorrow.
