I have this 150W subwoofer combined with the two book shelf speakers, two floor speakers and a center speaker. All are Klipsch in the same Reference Series. When testing this speaker, I did it in combination with the speakers I listed, as well as independently to see how it sounds alone. As a group, the speakers worked well together. The well balanced highs, mids and bass really sound great. At first glance, the sub is very attractive. It has a nice black faux wood look, and matches the rest of the speakers. The grill looks great and does not hamper the performance. This is the 150W model, not the 400W you see in the Magnolia section of Best Buy. It is more than sufficient for my set up and really provides the smooth bass I wanted to compliment the grouping of speakers. I don’t feel I needed more, and after installing everything I still feel the same way. When I tried it by itself, obviously I don’t get the same balanced sound out of the one bass producing sub. But the sound is great and it does its job well. Definitely happy with this one. Running this off a Onkyo receiver that has 4K compatible sound, I really like the results of the set up. Alone of grouped with the other speakers, this is a great sub for the above average audiophile. For my man cave, I love the set up and now I can watch what I want or listen to what I want with extreme quality sound. I definitely recommend it someone that wants either a solid performing subwoofer. This thing simply performs and you will love it. I really don’t think I need the 400W model and it would have required more power to get the optimal performance out of it. This was perfect for me.

Simply amazing! This Klipsch R-100SW Reference Series 10" 150W Powered Subwoofer really made me come to more fully appreciate what this type of component is meant to do. The spun-copper woofer produces deep, rich bass which shakes you and the air in the room surrounding you, just like you’d experience during a blockbuster action movie in a theater. And yet, the sound feels like it’s coming from all around the room, and not from this Klipsch subwoofer. As it should.

On my first test I was really disappointing with this subwoofer. However, seven days later after a break in period I was blown away. A real 150 watt amp and a solid woofer. You will not be disappointed. My listening room is roughly 17 x 14 and it fills the room well. Buy it. Its worth the money.

The Klipsch R-100SW is attached to my Denon AVR with connected 5.1 surround system. The 3 front speakers w 2 bookshelf Klipsch R-15M and 1 R-25C. Both surrounds are Polk S15. My Denon AVR has auto speaker calibration, which I utilize. The R-100SW subwoofer replaces a 11 year old 8" Yamaha that was only 50W vs new 150W. Huge, Huge difference with the upgraded Klipsch. Movie Dolby Digital Surround Sound never sounded better with this R-100SW coupled, with internet radio. COOL!

This subwoofer is truly amazing for the price. If you’re looking to upgrade your subwoofer without spending a fortune then look no further, I promise you will be happy with the purchase. Klipsch makes amazing speakers and according to my wife (who could care less about the speakers) really loves the look of it as well!

I'd held off on buying a subwoofer for a while due to space and price. Re-arranged my home theater and finally had space. Researched this sub as Klipsch is always highly recommended, and the minute I plugged it and set it up, home theater took on a whole new meaning. Great sub, great sound, great price!

This sub has the capability to shake an entire house. Putting out way more than what one would need for a home theater at only 10". The audible lows in my experience are very broad and the clarity is definitely solid. Price is not unbeatable but is definitely not a waste! Also looks fantastic

Lots of power, a room would have to be pretty big to need more than this. I think the main reason a person would want to go bigger is if they feel the need for those 20 Hertz sounds. Otherwise this is great.

Crazy Good. This absolutely destroys comparable models from Sony and Polk, both of which I’ve owned.

I have 2 of these subs, and they are very loud. Everything has opened up to another level. TV shows, commercials, streaming, movies etc...

I just added the R-100sw to my system as a second sub and it made a big difference which I did not expect it to do. I'm running it with the R-26 towers, R-15m as surrounds the older model R-10sw as the other sub. With the sounds I'm getting now with the addition of this sub I really need to upgrade my center channel from the R-25c center which is good but seems to lack a little now in the front stage. I'm waiting on the RP600c center to go on sale. Never satisfied as long as Klipsch keep on improving their products. Truly they are Keepers of The Sound.

Got this sub to go with my Klipsch r-41pm bookshelf speakers, wow is all I can say, totally worth the money, great low end sound, love the fact you can adjust it on the back of the sub., It is a little too powerful for the little bookshelf speakers I got so had to turn it down a bit but overall a great sounding sub for anyone looking to beef up there sound

Subwoofer is very powerful, clean and deep base. Great for use with surround sound setup. Happy with purchase.
