This things rocks the rooms. I’m sure there are some audiophiles here that like to split hairs about how it’s not perfect out of the box and all the adjustments they had to make to for it to playable for their ears. To the average consumer who just wants nice clean, crisp and deep bass added to their setup, this is more than enough. At 499 regular price it’s not bad. But at 249 on sale it’s a steal. Buy it!

It sounds decent for music and good for HT. Looking at the specs, it won't dig as deep as my HSU VTF3-MK4 and it's not as responsive as my RSL Speedwoofer 10s, but it's being used in a smaller kids' room (for the occasional game/movie) so I can go with the cheaper price. I'm just not sure about long term reliability as I've read on the forums that Klipsch amps are not that durable. I hope that's not true.

I bought this Klipsch unit because my 12 yr old Mirage sub-woofer died. I have been very happy with the performance and volume level available from this unit.

I bought this with the rest of the reference series speakers and so far I am EXTREAMLY happy with it. I have paired it with the Dennon AVR-X3700H receiver and its almost like being at the theater now. This thing makes it known when something explodes on TV. I can feel it through my couch. I am considering a second one to really take it to the next level.
