With a decent receiver this subwoofer delivers excellent bass responses. I do recommend changing the feet to minimize vibrations if you have a hardwood floor and/or pictures hanging on the walls.

Awesome is an understatement love it. Mark recommend it. Being an up grade from my 8” woofer. I bought 2 and now have 3 subwoofer made a big difference in the fell of the movie’s.

I have the older model this replaced. My new AVR has 2 sub outs so of course I needed a second. Sounds fine. I have 5 Klipsch subs, some for a decade and have never had a problem, contrary to all the hate online.

It want exactly w hat I was looking for. But it did sound great for the money.

You can "dial in" your favorite amount of bass and boom using the gain and the variable crossover.....I use with two Klipsch floor standing towers, and it's easy to get a great mix....

I thought a sub was a sub until now. Speed and clearly are now part of my vocabulary when it come to this sub. I love the boom. I have a mid size room and I keep the volume at 3.

Purchased 2 of these for a dedicated theater room. I've been trying several different subs from other manufacturers, all priced significantly more than these at regular price. When I saw these at half price, I decided to give them a try. The rated power of 200watts RMS is far lower than higher-priced subs, but in calibrating those subs, I only had the volume up about 1/3, so lots of unused power in my 12x18 room. These subs calibrated at less than half volume, so plenty of power. The rated low-frequency of 29hz seems accurate. Not very low for movies and special effects. You do get a good response in the "chest-slam" region of 50-70hz, but you don't get the low rumble that you feel more than you hear, in the low-20hz region. For my application, in my room, at the half-off sale price, these work.

I added a second 12" klisch sub-woofer to my home theater room and it makes every movie sound like imax, amc and regal cinema. Great buy

At 1/2 price, this sub is an awesome deal. Money aside, it works really well.

I had a 10" Pro Sub that I bought in 2004 which finally died and this was the replacement. Wow, the bass responds was much louder and better. Can't go wrong with Klipsch brand.
