Powerful but boomy not tight bass

I replaced a velodyne sub with this one because at the time, Velodyne had been bought out by a German company and they were not producing them. I won't be purchasing another Klipsch sub unless they have one that has tighter bass.

Ok if on clearance, but better options available

Also clips out at moderate to high volume. I brought this back and bought the SVS PB1000 10 inch sub and it goes way deeper and doesn’t clip out sounds like the Klipsch did.

Avoid klipsch subs

Has a ugly rattling noise , Especially when the bass hits low on thunderstorms or action movies. I would avoid klipsch subs and go for a brand that focuses on subwoofers as their main product.
