It sounds good pretty much anywhere, but placed in a corner, it will give the most output. The output is more than enough to enjoy action packed movies and deep bass tracks. It pairs well with all sorts of speakers as well, making it very versatile for home theater set ups. The new visual update was a pleasant surpise too. I was able to get this on sale for $250, and at that price, nothing really beats it. At retail however, the smaller 10in sub would be the more reasonable pick. Either way, klipsch subs do not disappoint.

My husband did a lot of research on the different brands, and we chose this one. I did'nt think we needed a larger one, but it is what he wanted so we got it. I could not believe how much better it sounded. The pictures on my wall were not vibrating like with the old one. This is a great subwoofer. I guess after a while you do need to update sound system. It is worth it.
