One of my very few regretted purchase decisions. Poorer sound than replaced $59.00 computer speakers. Was considering Klipsch towers but based upon this disaster I must be careful. Absolutely no bass!

Really regret buying this. It's not worth the price. I've learned I can't trust the salesmen in New Braunfels and take my business to San marcos.

I compared several of the sound bars in the store and this was better than the two JBL at similar and higher price. The RSB-11 in store didn't work. Out of the box, it is in 'consumer mode' and will power save with no input and default to lowest volume. I looked up directions on-line for 'installer mode' to always stay on for computer use where it may not get a signal for awhile. But ignore instructions to power on. Just press 'source' and 'volume up' at the same time for more than 5 sec then when an LED flashes, press volume up until the Dolby LED comes on. Let it flash for 10 seconds and it will now always stay on.

    Sounds Clear and Crisp

I had a Nakamichi NK 11, 280 watts. Subwoofer always cut in and out. Though far more powerful than the RSB3, at higher volumes sound was distorted. Maybe it’s because I’m older and my priorities have changed but the lack of a subwoofer does not detract from the quality of sound this sound bar produces. Whether I am watching an action packed movie, a drama or music this sounds great. Crisp and clear.

Great Sound Bar for the price!

I purchased this to go with an LG B7A 55" that sits on a floating TV stand. I was looking for something that would improve sound quality by firing forward instead of the TV internal speakers that fire back and/or downward. This was perfect, it turns on with the TV, the Virtual Surround and Dialog Clarity options are exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that I can't get it to work with my LG magic remote but, this is due to the magic remote relying on RF most of the time. I technically programmed it but, it only sends the IR when the TV is powered off.

    Digital Optical Cable

The digital optical cable did not work out of the box. It was a good thing that I still had the old cable from the sound bar that died. Comparing the two cables, it was obvious that the Klipsch cable was cheap compared to my old cable.

Good Sound - Bad Internal Static

    Posted .

I'd be willing to sing the praises of this item if it did not have a constant hiss from static, regardless of plug use or input. The only way to tune it out is to play the volume quite loud on anything, but that leaves questions as to how it may be distorting the sound of the item. I have done factory reset, tried different power sources, items, used a dac/amp, and digital decoder. Nothing makes the hiss go away. I will be calling Best Buy to see what I can get for a return, or if I just made a $150 donation to Klipsch and Best Buy.
