Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the sound quality, easy setup, and bass of the Reference Series 2.1-Channel Soundbar System. The deep bass from the subwoofer is particularly impressive, and many customers commented on how it rattles the floor. The soundbar is also easy to set up and operate, making it a great choice for those who want a high-quality sound system without the hassle of a complicated setup. However, some customers have complained about the remote control being difficult to see, and the manual being vague and misleading.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Klipsch and I do not expect great sound from any setup with satellite speakers but I was looking for a temporary replacement 5.1 setup and although this is Klipsch it really fell short. I returned it and went for the Vizio that was a little better.

Sounds is great when it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not very satisfied with the performance. The soundbar will work sometime and then the next won't. It seems like I have to unplug the bar and then let it reset all the time. Not very happy with depending on it to work.

Fantastic sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is incredibly wonderful, better than my old Bose 321. The manual could be better and the remote needs a little work. Fortunately once hooked up you are only concerned with the outstanding sound.

Very good sound for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this during the black friday sale for $249.99. I have it hooked up to a Sony xbr65x900e TV. A couple things to keep in mind if you are looking at this model: Make sure you have HDMI ARC on your TV. If not then you will need to purchase an optical cable. Also, the remote sucks. I'm going to buy a Harmony soon so that should take care of the bad remote. People have been complaining about a lack of bass but for a 6.5 inch sub I think it hits plenty hard. If you want insane bass levels then don't buy a 6.5 inch subwoofer. Overall I am extremely happy and think $250 is a steal.

Decent sound, a bit lacking in a couple areas
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very impressed with the sound the bar itself put out, and for that reason this earns it 3 stars, as I think most consumers would be happy with it. The failings for me were threefold: 1. The subwoofer isn't powerful enough, even for my modest desires. I turned it all the way up, and while it was clearly audible, it just didn't have quite the thump I'd like, which isn't anything crazy. 2. As other reviews note, the remote is lacking. It's tiny, super cheap, and the button presses don't work great. 3. My biggest problem is that the system goes to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. This happened to be quite frequently in a week of owning it, as I regularly pause shows on TV while I'm off in another room. There isn't any obvious way to change this, as there was with my previous Sony soundbar. At this point, I have elected to return it; however, Klipsch support did offer this advice, which I'm passing along to the masses, should you find it useful: It shuts off by itself after about 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve power. If you wish to have the bar only turn on and off when you command it to, you can put it into what is called 'installer mode'. Doing that, the auto on/off feature will be disabled. Once it is on, it will stay on until you turn it off. It will no longer turn on or off with the TV, but it will not turn off when you pause your movie or show. Putting the RSB-6 into Installer Mode: Unplug AC power from the sound bar, then plug it back in. Turn on sound bar, then within 10 seconds press and hold source and volume up buttons simultaneously for >5 seconds to engage Demo Select mode. While in Demo Select Mode, press the volume + button to cycle through the Consumer, Display, Retail, and Installer mode. HDMI1 LED will fast blink at 4Hz to indicate Consumer mode, Analog led will fast blink at 4Hz to indicate Display Mode, Digital led will fast blink at 4Hz to indicate Retail Mode, and TV LED will fast blink at 4Hz to indicate installer mode. You will want the TV LED blinking. Press the Volume + button until the desired mode is flashing. Allow the desired LED to flash for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds the unit automatically exits demo select mode and remains in the mode you selected. You're done...

Klipsch RSB-6, the soundbar that couldn'
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT buy the Klipsch RSB-6. I was talked into it over a JVC system by a BestBuy rep and thoroughly regret the decision. Sound is decent, but subwoofer is weak. BUT far more importantly, unit has major power issues. Unit initially powered on with TV, but suddenly stopped after several months and would not turn on at all. Had to unplugged unit and plug it back in to get it to come on. Contacted Klipsch, explaining this is my first exp w/them and want to be impressed, but they sent me thru a 2 week long process of trying this and that before sending me a new power cord. This fixed the problem... for about a month. Now I must unplug and re-plug every time I want to turn it on OR off. How the heck do you sell a product that the consumer struggles to power on. Also having trouble with Bluetooth. Unit paired easily with my I-phone and worked fine, but after a few months it began disconnecting itself each time I try to play music through my phone. I'm under 1 year with purchase and will try for a full refund, but not confident given the company's initial reaction to my problem.

I am returning mine.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this soundbar and I thought the price was fair. Unfortunately, I will return mine do to some frustrations. Overall, there are good reviews and I will say that the sound is great. For bass enthusiast, this may not be your system of choice. I prefer a lighter bass, so this works well for me, although it isn't weak. There are a few flaws, ranging from minor to total deal breaker. Minor flaws include the appearance (it's not pretty, but this didn't matter much to me), the remote is cheap and has a very short range (also doesn't matter much to me, because I have a universal remote), and the sound control may not indicate the volume on your television (mine did, once I connected through CEC). The biggest flaw and main reason I am returning this soundbar is an unbearable white noise/crackling/hissing coming from the speaker at all times. All attempts to trouble shoot failed, as this was not a connection issue with HDMI/ARC, rather it would happen as soon as it is plugged in and turned on - with or without HDMI connections. This noise is audible most of the time and is horribly annoying, like nails on a chalk board. Anyway, I wish it worked out, because I think this would be a solid system, but I would rather choose another brand than take a risk on another Klipsch that may have the same issue.

Sad trainwreck of a soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the sound is decent for its price, the soundbar fails miserably in just about every other area. It is exceptionally frustrating as a component in a 4k TV home theater setup. First, the sound drops out on a near daily basis, requiring power cycles to revive it. This occurred early on but after the return period, and of course, their customer service was nonexistent and unreachable. Second, this disastrous piece of equipment came equipped with the cheapest remote control to be found in the marketplace. Cheap, entry level Chinese startup brands have better quality remotes. This remote has a very narrow angle of reception and rarely works upon depressing the buttons. The biggest pain point about this soundbar is the fact that the volume level is not displayed on screen, neither on the remote or the digital readout on the bar. There's literally no way to know if the level is on low or blasting high. What was Klipsch thinking? Third, changing modes, such as ARC/CEC or going to demo mode is a bitterly confusing and failure-prone task. It requires holding down, in a timed fashion, multiple buttons to cycle through various configuration modes, which you will need to do to utilize Hdmi ARC. This could've been simplified with an expanded on screen controller or a proper remote that isn't worth 50 cents. Finally, I noticed switching inputs on two different HDMI tvs results in the sound dropping from this soundbar, and cannot be recovered without a power cycle, similar to what's stated above. This is a soundbar that could've gone far, but due to sheer laziness in design and marketing, has become a trainwreck and a frustrating complimentary burden of an equipment that is not worthy of a recommendation. Avoid this product at all costs.

Piece of junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid 400 , now it’s 250 , can see why sounds like a tin can. Went past the return day. Sounds awful at low to medium volume. Ok when turned way up. Subwoofer barely heard . Really annoying with the remote and set up. Have never written a review about anything. Just hope now one else buys it, even for 250 worst purchase ever!

Why is there no app to manage this thing!?!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My thoughts are the same as most.... sounds good for a small median sized room... sub could be bigger or more powerful. My biggest annoyance = remote sucks. And its 2018 Klipsh People!!! WHY IS THER NOT A SIMPLE BLUE TOOTH REMOTE CONTROL/ MANAGEMENT APP?!?!? TOTALLY UNACEPTABLE FOR A KLIPSCH PRODUCT!!!!
