    Fantastic sound bar

I originally purchased a bose sound touch 300, but after spending 3 days trying to set it up and fix a glitch, I finally packed it up and returned it to best buy. The main problem was it would randomly turn on my sony 900e. I worked with bose tech support and they were most helpful but since the problem was random, We thought the issue was solved but it continued. I bought a Klipsch rsb 11 with the included subwoofer. Very simple installation and really good sound quality, Love the included subwoofer. It easily connected with my iPhone via bluetooth and does a great job of playing my music. If you are thinking about a pretty good quality sound bar, go to best buy and listen to this unit. You will be pleasantly surprised . I used the optical cable to make my connection, just because it was simpler. Oh, I have directv and its simple to control the sound bar volume, mute, and that kind of stuff. Have not figured out how to turn it off with the directv controller, but I will work on it a bit more. What speakers people like are totally subjective , but I prefer the overall sound provided by the Klipshe over the Bose.

Purchased to simplify my home theater system but got it home and hooked up and it had an audio distortion across both optical and HDMI ports. Returned it to store and exchanged for component system instead.

Bluetooth, forget about it. Every time I try to play music through my phone the connection is choppy. Now the sound is getting choppy while watching tv over arc. Glad I got the coverage plan.

Terrible instruction. Wouldn’t pass through 4K signal. Wouldn’t work over arc. I love Klipsch too, but this was a terrible soundbar. Returned.

Excellent soundbar for the price. Sure, you could shell out another $400+ to get a nicer one, but without stepping up to a 5.1 or 7.1 system what more are you really getting? The sound quality on the RSB-11 is fantastic, the bass will rumble the room during movies, and the range is great. Both the soundbar and subwoofer look premium. Well worth the money for the quality.

This new sound bar marries Klipsch's characteristically punchy and powerful speakers with the latest surround tech (hdmi arc, 3chnl hdmi, coded surround, dialog, night settings as well as the wireless sub feature). I was really looking for a speaker that will not only enhance voice but crank music like a beastly stereo system. I'd highly recommend it but if you don't believe me ask a Best Buy salesmen to let you test it out and hook your phone via Bluetooth and play your favorite tunes. Thank me later!

I bought a new tv so I told myself that I have to push it a little bit by buying a soundbar. I didnt know which soundbar should I take so I bought two : Bose 500 plus the base $900 and I bought Klipsch RSB11 (it comes with base) for $400 (was on sale from $600). I have both for few days and I was trying everything possible just to get my mind clear. 1. I will start by saying that Bose looks amazing, small, compact, stylish. Nothing to say about that, compared to a bulky much bigger RSB11. 1-0 Bose. 2. Connectivity: both were kind of easy to set up, but for BOSE I had to download the app. That's a minus because it took longer than RSB11. 1-1 3. Bluetooth: on the Bose i had a problem that I did't find on RSB11. Connecting the soundbar to my Mac, playing anything on it (music, listening live tv, youtube) every 5-6 minutes i was having 1-2 second gaps, where the music stopped. On the Klipsch, the bluetooth connection just went continuously with no gap. Both had delays image-sound but I think it is normal for a Bluetooth connection. 2-1 Klipsch. 4. The most important, SOUND: Maybe I had better expectations, maybe all the fame of BOSE brand made me believe in the beginning that the sound SHOULD AND WILL BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. It is not. And here is where I get very very DISAPPOINTING. Not loud enough, not clear enough, the base not powerful enough. I tried movies, 4k movies, music, youtube. It's not CLEAR. On the other side, Klipsch convinced me with a better clarity of the sound, clarity of the dialog, better base and louder even. 3-1 Klipsch. 5. Connections: I like the fact that Bose got HDMI, optical and they give you the chance to add wired speakers on the soundbar. Klipsch doesn't allow that. 3-2 Klipsch. 6. Price: $900 BOSE vs $400 Klipsch. For nothing in the world BOSE 500 doesn't value (except for the fact that you PAY THE NAME) double that Klipsch RSB11... it's impossible. The easiest comparison ... 4-2 Klipsch. I will return the BOSE in the next days, it is just NOT WORTH IT to spend so much money for so little to offer. If you just want to show off in front of your friends that you have money to spend on a BOSE, that buy BOSE soundbar 500, but if you care about your budget and the better quality soundbar, Klipsch RSB11 offer what you need. (not that Klipsch is not a good name brand). p.s. I bought a BOSE QC II headphones, but these are great, amazing. 5 starts with no questions. Just to show that I am very objective about this review. BOSE might have some great products but not the Soundbar 500. Sorry. p.p.s. I do hear when it is on a static sound if i get my ear 5-10 inches close to the soundbar, but I hope it is fixable. And I wish Klipsch RSB11 would be more stylish :)

Just replaced my 3 year old Klipsch Reference R-10B, after it stopped working. I looked into several soundbars available on the market. Finally I went back to Klipsch Reference series RSB-11. Setup was a piece of cake. And the sound is amazing. Better than R-10B. It has different modes. For example "night" mode. Just a click of a button on the remote and the sound drops several notches. The "dialog" mode makes dialogs sound clear. Has a "surround" mode too, but it's not the best, after all it's only a 2.1 output system. I don't like the bluetooth function. It was never the best even on R-10B. The reason being that you have to keep the source stationary and close to the sound bar. The subwoofer is similar to the one accompanied with R-10B. You can also adjust the level of subwoofer with the remote. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

    Amazing Klipsch sound and bass

This setup replaced my Klipsch R-20 soundbar with 10” wireless sub and it was worth the upgrade. The bass from this 8” sub is very comparable to the R-20 10” sub, but this setup excels with the mids/highs. So crisp and clear and now you have your surround and dialog options to create the best sound for whatever you’re listening to. The remote is extremely better with many more functions including bass settings. Unfortunately, the bass always resets to the lowest setting unless you increase it using the remote and there’s no visible level of bass. You just set it to what sounds best. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because the Bluetooth connectivity is still terrible! What’s up with that Klipsch?! You literally cannot get more than 10 feet away without the Bluetooth intermittently cutting out. Also, the bass always resets to the lowest setting unless you increase it using the remote and there’s no visible level of bass. You just set it to what sounds best. Hopefully we can get some software updates to fix these issues.

Have had this system for 6 years now and has never worked correctly. The sound isn't all that great, lots of midrange which tends to make dialog muddy and hard to hear in movies. But the worst part is that it will randomly disconnect and getting it back in working order is just as random. Even with multiple connections the speakers still seem to have random tantrums refusing to connect to any and will reconnect just as randomly sometimes hours later. And no there is nothing broken in this set, I have a buddy with the same set and has the exact same problems. Very expensive for what it is, and will never buy Klipsch products again.

Just purchased this Klipsch sound bar and was very impressed. Nice crisp clear booming sound. The subwoofer packs an adequate punch. So why buyer beware? The HDMI cable that comes with the unit DOES NOT SUPPORT 4K ARC. Be sure to pick one up when you purchase. Setup with my Samsung TV was a breeze once I had the right HDMI cord.

After downgrading sound systems over the twenty years its been difficult to find a system I think is practical, worth the expense and gets by the wife. Once you hear true 5.1 Dolby surround a 2.1 sound bar just can't compete. After years of disappointing systems, trying systems from Samsung, JBL, Bose, Polk and Yamaha I always had an eye on the Klipsch systems. We upgraded to a 65" 4k TV and while the Yamaha YAS-105 was one of Rolling Stones top tech gifts for 2016, worked well with our old system it just did not do justice with this giant 4k TV. In July of 2017 the RSB-11 was on sale for $450 but I found an open-box for a bit less and took advantage. While it is much more difficult than the optical connection the HDMI offers integrated Dolby Surround and if you use proper 4k connections and components the difference in sound quality is unbelievable when you hit the surround option and the Dolby signal lights up on the Klipsch system telling you the 4k Dolby signal is getting through! I read quite a few complaints from people calling themselves tech-savvy audiophiles but it is obvious if you are using any powerful high-fi system the tiniest magnetic, electrical, or digital interference affects the sound quality. a microscopic piece of dust in a connection will create a humm so you need to keep everything clean and static free if you expect to get a distortion free signal. Also keep in mind the unbelievable amount of data coming through every second when streaming a 4k movie!!! To not have a mistake in billions on lines of code is nearly impossible so yes, I have interruptions, but they are entirely acceptable to me as I am running approx.. 60mbps and its just so much data what do you really expect? A message for Klipsch... Please make backward compatible rear surround speakers, that are wireless, and give us a 5.1 Dolby decoder in a firmware update for this system!

    Limited Bluetooth, otherwise great sound

Purchased at BB after reading many reviews and expecting quality sound based on Klipsch's history. Easy to hook-up to newer Sony TV via optical cable. TV sound is excellent. Pandora streamed through TV was very good. Subwoofer is good, but not overpowering. Dialog enhancement seemed to work well. When Bluetooth was synced to my iPhone 6, the volume was very low and sound was muffled (almost like AM radio). Sounded the same with my wife's iPhone . Do not have and did not try an Android phone. I had to turn the volume way up just to get to a moderate listening volume. Not sure if this was a Bluetooth compatibility issue with the iPhone (not apt-x?), but this was a deal breaker for me. Returned the soundbar and will be purchasing the RSB-14 elsewhere when on sale, which has Play-Fi wi-fi. Figured for the money, Play-fi adds better wireless sound quality compared to Bluetooth and can be linked to other speakers. I figure this is the future direction of wireless technology and sound quality. I would recommend the product, but caution with iPhone Bluetooth. Recommend testing Bluetooth with your phone in the store to ensure satisfaction.

Purchased and installed this sound bar today after shopping for several weeks. At the store I compared the sound to the JBL SB450 which was the only other serious contender locally and the JBL was WAY too bassy. Have been playing movies, music and shows through it for a couple of hours and it is as close to flawless as I can imagine. The Bluetooth range is a little short (I can get about 12' away before it gets choppy) but with the Google Home, Logitech Hub, Chromecast, etc that's a non-issue for me. I highly recommend the RSB-11 if you love great sounding movies AND music at a reasonable price.
