klipsch 2.1 soundbar rsb-11
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.replace my yamaha yas 203 with this product. very good so far. very clear and crisp sound for watching tv,movies, games on my ps4 pro and my xboxone x. the subwoofer is good- not overpowering with bass, but it'ts passable with the soundbar connected to it. i did not notice no hissing sound or sound problems in this soundbar as i did read other reviews on this product. overall- very good soundbar at this price range. i would recommend this product.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an LG SH7B that started having problems with the sub cutting out and having to be reset multiple times a day. I'm not sure if I'm an audiophile or just a person that enjoys good sounds. Either way I absolutely love the sounds that come from this sound bar and sub. Everything is so clear and the sub sounds great. I did have to turn the sub volume up all the way for my liking and would like it to go a little further since I do like bass but it's really fine for what it is and it keeps the bass from taking over. The problem comes at night while I would watch tv at lower volume than during the day. I sit about 10ft from the sound bar and can hear a hiss/static kinda noise coming from the bar, more so from the left side. I tried a surge protector with clean power, unplugged everything but the power cord and tried different outlets and nothing solved the issue. I returned it for a new one and had the same problem. I then went to the Best Buy store and listened to the one on display and heard the same thing. I then moved on to a Polk Audio Magnifi Max and I gotta say, it sounds pretty bad for Polk. I expected a lot more. There was more bass than the Klipsch but it just kinda merged with the mids making everything all muddy with barely any highs. I had both hooked up at the same time with Gardians of the Galaxy 2 on switching back and forth between the Polk and Klipsch and there is so much missing from the Polk. The Klipsch produces so much more sounds that you just don't hear from the Polk no matter how you adjust it. Then the sub started popping, I read online it's common. Seems as though the sub cuts in and out causing the popping noise. I don't know for sure but I don't really care because the sound just stinks. It's better than tv speakers of course but it's not great and definitely not worth the price even with the sub working properly. I did contact Klipsch support via their website and they said it's normal. I say it may be normal for that bar but not in general. I know all audio equipment produce a bit of noise if you put your ear right next to the speakers but you shouldn't be able you hear it 10 ft away, especially enough to drive you nuts. I'm assuming many people don't notice it like I do, don't turn the volume low enough to hear it or get bothered by it because there are many great reviews. I wish I could have kept it but I just can't take the hissing noise. If you want to know what I'm talking about go search for rsb-11 static, another person with the same issue uploaded a video of the same sound.

Finally!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After numerous failed attempts at trying to find the perfect soundbar, I stumbled across the klipsch rsb-11. And all I can say is thank you SPEAKER GODS!!! This is totally worth the money it has a great mixture of highs and lows unlike the Bose 500 that I will be returning as soon as they open up after the holidays. Do yourself a favor and give it a try you will not be disappointed..

Fantastic Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had soundbars in the past and tried a few.I was introduced I believe to last years model and was blown away. I stumbled upon the rsb-11. The BB I bought mine from did not have on on display. I took it home , and had read a few more reviews on the (rs10?) and people had said give it time, let it break in. Well I did just that with this model. I also set my subwoofer next to the couch which is about 17 ft away from my tv, The sound really is incredible. My only con is you can not adjust the treble and such, but you really do not need to. This thing works great for any program. Looking forward to watching a movie this weekend.

Excellent FULL sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a Vizio and Sony soundbar in the past. After my Sony went out, I decided I'd continue down the sound bar path. I went to Best Buy and tested ALL of them out. I fell for a handful, but was convinced to spend some money on a Sony featuring Dolby Atmos. After getting home I was left utterly disappointed. The audio was flat, and the "immerse" experience from the Dolby Atmos left me feeling as though it was still gimmicky (especially on a soundbar). I took it back the very next day. Back in the store I realized I overlooked the Klipsch RSB-11 and was immediately blown away by its mid range level. The subwoofer keeps an expected level of bass and the full set of speakers really punched. I brought it home and it worked great out of the box with my bluetooth media devices. To make it work with my TCL I did have some trouble, but I think it was my TV. Instead of setting my CEC detection for ARC to auto, I had to manually set it to Dolby D. Otherwise it there was no audio coming from the TV. After playing Infinity War as a trial, I was blown away. There is a full range of audio from this set up. It may be bulky, but I attribute the large speakers to that and I'm ok with the sacrifice! 5/5

Great Sound!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a condo and wanted to free up some space that my speakers were taking up. I was running B&O speakers up front and Paradigm bi-polars in the rear so I was very apprehensive about replacing the setup with a sound bar. I initially purchased a Polk Magnifi Max SR, the subwoofer offered outstanding bass response but the rest of the sound bar itself was a complete letdown, I was worried that I had made a mistake going the sound bar route because the Polk was so highly rated. I went back to BB and took my time listening to everything on the floor in the $400-$1,000 price range and I kept coming back to the RSB-11. The dialogue is clear and the sound stage is wide, the sub woofer is a little weak but everything else is so darn good that I’ll still give it a five star review. If it’s within your budget I highly recommend the RSB-11.

GREAT sound!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Klipsch was starting to crap out on me. I thought I would take advantage of the Labor Day sales. The salesperson suggested a Sony HTX-9000F. It was pretty easy to set up, but I just didn't like the sound. The highs were just too harsh for my ear. After trying to tweak it, I boxed it up and returned it the next day. Since, I had always enjoyed my old Klipsch, I decided to try the Klipsch RSB 11. Right out of the box it sounded great.....perfect balance of sound. Finally! A sound bar I can live with.

Disappointed in performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was replacing a Klipsch Icon sb-1 soundbar that I had for about 6 years (the sub quit working). I've always liked Klipsch so I figured I'd stay with them. Bought this soundbar on sale during black friday sale. Am sorry to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed in its performance. Not nearly as loud or punchy as the bar I was replacing. Also, there was a hissing sound coming from the bar, didn't matter the source or if I used hdmi or optical inputs. Went to the store and I could hear the hiss on the demo unit also, the salesperson didn't notice it until I pointed it out to him. I returned the soundbar and am still looking for a new one.

Klipsch Quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very loud soundbar with great balance and clarity. Mids blend well with highs with mild separation but it doesn’t detract from the sound stage. Bass can be a bit flat but it does fill out the lows very well with solid oomphs rather than hollow booms and resonating bass.

Was Good, But.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Klipsch RSB-11 Soundbar and Subwoofer for about two months. It worked very well until I had time to do the Firmware update that Klipsch offered. I printed out the detailed instructions, downloaded the Zip file that contained the update, unzipped the file and loaded the two Firmware updates onto a jump drive and started the update following the steps exactly. It shutdown for the next step in the update and it would not power back up. I contacted Klipsch thru their Customer support on the website, and opened a Ticket to ask a question about what happened. I got a automated response stating I would be contacted within 7 days. It has been well over a week now, and no response. I returned it to BestBuy for Geek Squad to send it back to their repair center. It could take a month till I get my Soundbar back....if I am lucky...Lol. I am rating it one Star, because of the Firm Ware Update Failure and the lack of RESPONSE from Klipsch, their Customer Support is very BAD and Seemingly Non-Existent. The Best Advice I would give to anyone considering buying this Soudbar would be to "Not do the Firmware Update" if you want to enjoy your Soundbar. I would not recommend this Soundbar to anyone because of the lack of Customer Support from Klipsch.

Junk..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved Kilpsch until I bought this thing.. Had it a week and the arc has stopped working altogether. The optical causes the thing to turn on even after being powered off which isn't cool at all but it's the only way it works correctly. I just threw the box out after owning for a week and I'm hoping Best Buy will take it back so I can find something else.. Klipsch customer service was super unhelpful and I'm never gonnna buy another item from them again..

Nightmare if you need warranty help
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Subwoofer is sub par, mine rattled. Volume of speaker and subwoofer has to be reset every time it comes on, each comes on at minimum and has to be set separate each time. If you have problems they tell you firmware will fix it, my subwoofer won't even power up yet they said "firmware fixed this issue". Firmware will fix a rattling subwoofer. Remote must be pointed exactly at unit to use, just a tiny bit off and remote doesn't work and I am only 8 feet in front of it. Because Subwoofer is sub par you need another and Klipsch told me only this one subwoofer will pair and you can only use one, you can not use 2 or use a better one.

Poor subwoofer (bass) and lacks mid-range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a Klipsch speaker fan and own klipsch RF82ii, RC64ii and RS62ii for HT setup. For my second TV bought this klipsch sound bar and was absolutely disappointed with the sub performance and mid range performance. I can't believe it was a klipsch sound bar. There was very little bass from 8 inch subwoofer. Sound bar was lacking mid range frequency and was worst than $150 bucks Visio sound bar (but better than Samsung k550) in terms of performance. Returned it for Sony HT-ST5 sound bar which I'm impressed with and found it at a great clearance price.

Sounds Great but Horrible Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch does not process HDR signals. Up until this year if you had a newer Serial number and did a firmware update it would "brick" your soundbar. Finally the RSB-11 would have a very low static and white noise from the speaker when no audio is playing, I unplugged all input cables and trying plugging in the unit to other outlets. Bluetooth range is poor. Sound is clear and and crisp, like what you would expect of Klipsch.

Worthless Firmware Updates
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Avoid! Subwoofer developed a constant buzz. Then, it stopped working. Tried to update the firmware on the soundbar SEVERAL times with no luck. At first, update would start and then freeze. Then, nothing! Can't even get the soundbar to turn on now. I will never purchase another Klipsch sound system.
