I bought first Atmos Klipsch speaker, then I bought center speaker and now I bought this. Great sound .. hooked up this speakers as my surround back speaker and my home theatre now rocking with this speaker.. great sound

Quality small speakers. These work great for a small or medium-sized space or if you don’t need “big sound,” for a very large area. The design is clean and works with any decor.

I purchased these for a small room just to use my old turn table which I set up after a 30 year hiatus. Fit perfectly on my custom plexiglass shelves without dominating to much area. They measure 7"W x 13-1/4"H x 8-1/2" D. I don't believe the description shows the dimensions. I have a 7-8 year old Yamaha RX-V2700 receiver with way more wattage than I need for a 10' x 10' room, but you use what you have. The more volume I give it the better the speakers sound. I think these would work well even in a much larger room.

I had been looking for an upgrade to my Pioneer Andrew Jones BS22 speakers. Given the bevy of options in the sub-$500 range, it was an agonizing search. Ultimately, I narrowed it down to three options for 2.0 music listening: the Klipsch r-51m, the Sony Core CS-5, and the ELAC B5. I let the market decide. When Best Buy put the Klipsch on sale (50%) I bought them on impulse. I instantly felt a pang of buyers' remorse; Would they actually be better than the trusty Pioneers? Would I have been better served by the Sonys or ELACs? No way. These are so sick! The Pioneers are tonally nice, but I often found them muddied and/or veiled. They also like power and don't sound very good at all unless blasted at loud volumes. I auditioned a pair of Sonys at a friends' house and liked them better. They sound great at low-moderate levels. They're also extremely detailed, which gave tracks a good sense of "speed" and instruments a nicely textured feel. But there was something missing... Didn't get to try the ELACs but they cost way more and seemed like they had a similar sound signature to the Pioneers (same designer) and seemed to require something nicer than my DENON AVR. The Klipsch, while not quite as analytical as the Sony, are still so much better overall. Every good thing you've read about them is true: they're efficient, dynamic, impactful, and FUN! They have that live music feel. And contrarty to some more negative reviews I've seen, I don't find them overly bright, harsh, or directional. And the bass was more than enough for me (bassheads might prefer a subwoofer or an ELAC, but trust me it's not a major shortcoming at all). The sound presentation simply grabs your attention; perfect for rock, pop, acoustic, etc. I can't stop listening to them. I can't stop looking at them either. The pictures don't do them justice. I'm usually into the "big black box" look because it seems to fit more seamlessly with all types of decor. But these are grilles off, all the time. The materials are of such high quality that they look beautiful in person. The cooper accents look much more understated and refined than I expected. Like the sound, they'll definitely turn heads. I am a Klipsch convert.

When I listened to the various brands of speakers in the store, Klipsch stood out as having the best balanced and cleanest sound. The display system didn't let me hear the bookshelf speakers by themselves, but I took a chance and bought a pair. I wasn't disappointed. They sound great and have a better bass response than I expected. I liked them so much that I went back and bought the Klipsch R-34-C center channel speaker. I already had the Klipsch 12" subwoofer and the speakers sound great together. When it comes time to replace my existing rear speakers, I'll definitely be getting Klipsch again.

Wonderful product sounds great and very loud with nice clear bass hits ... If you like your music or movies loud and with clear loud bass then this product is perfect

Got these on sale during Black Friday and could not be happier with them. They look fantastic and sound terrific. My favorite addition to my stereo yet.

If you can get these on sale they are an amazing speaker. Full rich tone nice bass that does not over whelm. Best in a smaller room and very nice when you want to focus on the music.

These speakers sound great for the money, and look cool too! I have 2 pairs for my surround sound system. The black veneer is nice.

Purchased these for rear surrounds to go with R-820’s I’m running for my main channels and Klipsch 12” powered sub. Powering with a Pioneer Elite Atmos receiver. These speakers pair wonderfully together whether listening to music or watching movies/tv. Now I just need to replace my center channel (Acoustech dual 5 1/4) with the RP-600C and add Atmos height speakers, then I will be right where I want to be. I won’t say these are the sound quality of my uncle’s B&W equipped set up, but for a fraction of the money he has spent, these speakers aren’t that far behind in sound quality. Very happy with how these sound and look!

Good packing and perfect sound. I was impressed with the initial sound quality of it paired with my new yamaha RX-v6a receiver. The speakers were also bigger than expected.

For the price point, they make amazing surround speakers for people new to home audio, or individuals on a budget

i was surprised of the clarity of these speakers. i alway bought floor speakers as I was hesitant to buy smaller ones. I wanted speakers for another room. the price was great. love these Bookshelf speakers.

Very musical and excellent bookshelf for the price. You do not have to break the bank to listen to music at its best. Well made product, reasonable price for a pair.

We are so stoked. So this is what we’ve got. All Klipsch - 1 12” 400w powered subwoofer, Quad 3-1/2 2 way center speaker, 2. Dual 8” 600w passive 2way floor speakers, 4 5-1/4 340w passive 2way bookshelf speakers, all being powered by a Pioneer - Elite 9.2-ch Bluetooth compatible with Dolby Atmos 4K Ultra HD HDR comparable A/V home theater Receiver. Several years ago we had a BOSE surround sound system that we absolutely loved. We sold it years ago when we sold our home and missed it very much. This time we decided to change things and went with the system listed above. Let me tell you there is no comparison. We absolutely have been blown away. The difference in surround sound effects by comparison with the BOSE are staggering when either watching movies or listening to music. We could not be happier I don’t think.

These are great speakers for a smaller room. Crisp clean sound Before I purchased these I consulted a friend who said I might not like the tweeter but I think they sound just fine.

Perfect surround speakers for a great price. I now regret buying the Polk center channel. Klipsch speakers have a warmer overall sound.

We purchased these to scale down the speakers (1970's Sansui) that we had. These have a good sound quality. Not sure I would say they are as good as the old ones we had but then they were much larger. The construction of these seem very good. We would like to get some small speaker stands for them later down the line when we can shop for them. Overall I don't think you would find a better bookshelf type of speaker out there in this price range. Best Buy had a great sale on them when we were looking so with that and the great reviews that is what sold us on them. We are very pleased

These speakers have such an amazing sound its unreal. Its like being there at a live concert and the have such a crisp clear sound with a thumping base.

Klipsch Reference series is basically their current "low end" line of speakers. It was previously their middle of the pack, above Synergy and below Reference Premier. Typically, I tend to go for the Reference Premier line because it's amazing, especially for the price, but don't let that fool you. These Reference speakers are an incredible value. If you're looking to get some beefy surround sound speakers for your entertainment room but don't have the budget for something high end, these will do the trick.
