Crisp but Tinny and Weak
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Klipsch has joined the herd with a mediocre bookshelf. Too small for any decent sound, it is missing strong mids, leaving a tinny sound. The next step up in speakers from Klipsch is the huge floor speaker. I don't have room for those in my medium-sized dining room and living room area. These bookshelves don't have the cabinet size to fill the room. Too bad manufacturers aren't making a mid-sized 3-way cabinet that can fill a room and not have to sit like a giant Christmas tree on the floor. I should give 3 stars because the sound is crisp and clear, leaving some clarity for pianos, strings, horns, etc. It just lacks the warmth, depth, and fullness of a good sized speaker.
