Awesome

However I will never buy "open box" again. One speaker had some scratches on the side. The other one must have been dropped backwards. It has a huge dent on the rear edge. Fortunately they seem to be functioning properly.

I've been wanting the reference 280 for a long time and when they came out with the newer version of the series I was even more excited to get them! The half off deal made them more amazing! Seriously, these sound better every time I hear them. Great Speakers guys!

Home theater audio system.

We bought these, to complete our set up. They're well made. Durable. Removable screen on the front. Used daily & have a beautiful face.

Nice sounding speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have this system setup in a small room these are complete with the Klipsch 3 1/2" Quad Passive center channel and the Klipsch 4" Height speaker for the rear channels. I have a Accumass 12" sub all powered by a Yamaha RX-V861. This system really makes those action movies come to life on the screen and adds a whole new depth to our viewing pleasure.

I have had 3 different home thearter in the past few year and have always had inwall and in ceiling speakers. I have spent thousands and left thousands behind not this time dang it. I will take these with me to my new home and home theater. Oh and the sound way better and all my expensive inwall and inceiling speakers.

Sound fair to good overall bass heavy in 2 channel listening for music, lack definition and clarity between instruments, midrange frequencies lost among the overpowering highs and lows. For the reviewer that said lows were not good check your amp settings. Paired with Anthem MRX710 and bass was knocking hard with house shaking. . Not really what I need replaced with KEF LS50 Metas 1/5 of the size and sound absolutely amazing well worth high price .

Great speakers

The most difficult thing about seeing these speakers up was getting them out of the box. Once these speakers were connect, the fun began. The louder I played them, the better they sounded. These speakers also look amazing. I'm really happy with this purchase.

We absolutely love them

When we sold our home we left the BOSE system with the house . Even though we loved our BOSE system we decided to try out the Klipsch. We have been blown away with what we are experiencing while watching movies and listening to music. The Klipsch system we have now is so awesome compared to the BOSE we used to have. We are truly impressed

Crisp and clean with no distortion. I upgraded to these from a pair of pioneer 15 inch 3 way speakers. I thought they sounded good all though a little muddy. These have a lot cleaner sound with good lows. I’m also running a 12 inch 550 watt sub for my low end punch.

Perfect for home theater

I have them setup with klipsch 502s for the dolby atmos sound. I have a Sony str-dn1080 driving them. They have full rich sound. They are more than enough for a room 3 times the size of mine. I have recommended them to friends and they now own them as well
