Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the exceptional sound quality, particularly the impressive bass response, of the Reference Series Dual 8" speakers. Many also praise the speakers' power handling capabilities and value for the price. However, some customers note that the speakers are large and heavy, and a few have expressed concerns about the durability of the feet. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality outweighs the negative comments regarding size and weight.

These sound great powered by Fisher 400 tube receiver. The high efficiency level really helps to get things in the sweet spot. Nice full frequency range of sound, the bass response is very good on their own however I still use a pair of 10" Kilpsch powered subwoofers. All in all a very good value at this price range.

Excellent sound and clarity at any volume when paired with Yamaha a/v receiver. Will definitely fill a smaller room with all of the sounds that was actually meant to be heard. It has replaced my vintage Akai hifi amplifier as my main audio source and has great functionality fir a dedicated home theater.

I consider myself, for many years now, an “amateur” Audiophile. I just love music! When I listen, I want to hear crisp highs, strong midrange (I want to hear the slide of fingers on the fretboard!) and I want crisp, thumping bass. With all of the above said, these R820’s do not disappoint! Now there is some “dialing in” to get the right sound, but once you do….Awesome!! I also have a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers. They are y the way, awesome too. I’m not so much into Home theater setups, I purchased these 820’s for music. I also have a Klipsch 8” wireless sub in the mix as well. For me it’s perfect for my main interest of music and brings the 820’s to life on the bass end. I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase as well as the other Klipsch products I mentioned. Last thing, and it’s obvious, try to catch them on sale as I did. All in all I will be enjoying these speakers for many years to come!

Previously had a set of Klipsch Towers with the single 8" and Horn midrange/tweet and these were very nice sounding. Went without for a few years due to moving around and paid it forward and gave them away. Recently purchased the R-620F's and the R-100SW sub (both on sale, very good pricing) powered by an older Yamaha RX-v371 reciever. Obviously being newer designs this setup sounds quality. With the twin 6" in the towers and the sub to enhance, the low end response is far better that the previous setup and the clarity is sharp. I haven't tried the titanium tweeters yet but the aluminum in these are very sharp also. I have an open floor plan with high ceilings and the acoustics are probably not the best but the sound is full enough at high volume. Bigger stuff would obviously fill more but in a good listening position, 10-12' on the couch centered, it's phenomenal. This is not the most expensive setup and it's expandable but the sound quality indicates it could be.

Over a year now with these and as they say, once you get started the upgrade bug will hit you hard! Still running these as my front mains but I added a RP504C for the center, followed by a 2nd R120SW sub, and shortly after that upgraded my Yamaha RX-V679 to a Yamaha RX-A3080. Loving every minute of it!

I picked these up on sale. Klipsch makes good speakers, and I was not let down. The only bad thing was the cashier talked me into opening a BestBuy credit card. I thought I was getting some form of discount or loyalty points/reward. Nope you can earn points after you get the card. Should've bought these on my Amazon Visa.

Let me start by saying I like these speakers a lot! The packaging was superb and the boxes suffered no damage from delivery. The tweeters were not as crisp as I expected from Klipsch considering the size of the speaker and the price. If you like some amount of bass these are best paired with at least one subwoofer; I have two Klipsch - Reference Series 12" 400W Powered Subwoofers and my house ROCKS!! In my humble opinion it is best to catch these speakers while on sale; they look great, sound great and I anticipate much use out of these for the years to come!!

Some of the best speakers you can get for $585 a pair. The feet come with 4 black brittle Sheetrock screws and the head broke off on one screw on each speaker just trying to get foot screwed flush so use different screws. Everything else is great love the speakers.

This is my second pair of Klipsch speakers; the first pair equal these 2 and came from a GI overseas... 30 years ago! Suffice it to say, Klipsch quality rivals no other... I like my music LOUD & these bad boys don't disappoint~ Their sound is complete, complex, subtle AND powerful! Gentle giants...

I managed to get these during a Black Friday sale, and it was quite a deal. I wanted speakers with a great range of sound, and these are exactly what I was looking for. After a month and a half of listening to them, I can definitely recommend them.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas not realizing it was only one speaker. The sound was amazing, but alas I returned it as the sales price for another one was no longer cost effective. I would have kept a pair if there was a price match. Very impressive lo-mid and hi notes.
